Ok, does anyone else have a writer in their family? Oh wait, you may misunderstand the question. I do not mean an author, but a little devil who likes to write on EVERYTHING?!?!?!?!

How new is that video? We have one that we ordered fall 2005. Would that be the same one?

I don't think it is the same one. e last one I got was in late summer of 2005. That one had LM on the cover. This one is more rustic. It says DCL vacations 2005 - 2006 on it.

I wish it were that easy Marielle. If it were just me and her, it would be doable, but with 3 others in this house that do not know how to put anything away... She will be fine for weeks, heck, months at a time, and then WHAM!!

Pj and John - the new MacBook Pro - like it a lot! I still would prefer a smaller screen since I already have a desktop. I've been using the MacBook. I like it too.

Love my Macbook. Love the glossy screen.

The pro would be nice - but I had a 12" Powerbook before that I really liked (Amy now uses at home) so the Macbook is perfect for me. I'm not sure that the Pro is worth that much more - I'm not a computer gamer, etc..

yes....Samantha has drawn a lovely picture with markers on her hallway wall. I feel it promotes her artistic ability. One time on John's watch she fully painted herself. I mean fully along with her carpet and chair - John said she was being quiet...um, that is rule number one...when they are quiet they are up to something.

I don't think there is surface in this house that hasn't been drawn on! Her first face picture was in lipstick on her bedroom wall. I just had to take some video of it though. Right now she has pen all over her face.

I am downloading 2 more songs. They are both off of the Casting Crowns newer CD. I have the old one...which I love. That is in the van. I want to bring that in and put it into my itunes. How could I (a real music lover) have never discovered this little gem until now???? Amazing!

You are acting just like I did when I got my first iPod several years ago. Too bad, that I thought it was just the gadget geek in me. I should have taken EVERY penny I had or could borrow and bought Apple stock!

Our closest is an hour away! The other one is 3 hours away!

Thankfully my kids are not too artistic but there was the one time when DS decided to use the contents of his diaper for a little "paint" project! I think I yelled at him so much then that he has sworn off any unapproved art projects!

BTW -

Took the dog for a walk last night, and almost turned right around to come back! It was 29 degrees, with a 35mph wind in my FACE! COLD!

I was probably wearing less than you wanted your DD to wear to school Patsy! I did have a hat and gloves though.

This morning it was 22 when I got up.

Winter is on the doorstep!

Thankfully my kids are not too artistic but there was the one time when DS decided to use the contents of his diaper for a little "paint" project! I think I yelled at him so much then that he has sworn off any unapproved art projects!

The biggest problem is that the "others" in the house do not put pens, markers, crayons, pencils, etc away. The biggest culprit is DH! Dina knows that she can only draw on paper. It's available to her. I guess she just likes other things...
