DD is going to dress up as a Kid in Trouble...she has the perfect costume and it fits great! :rolleyes1

I hid some halloween candy away and she was warned not to touch it or there would be no trick or treatin'...the bag was ripped open.... :furious: Then she lied about it....and continues to deny it. she has a certain look and act to her when she's lying and I catch her all the time...she just doesn't know when to give up on the act and confess. <Vee Haff Vays of Making You Talk!>

Does anyone else see this as justice? Crimes should have a punishment...I think her punishment should be to sit with DW and I and hand out candy to the little ones and not go out gathering. DW thinks I'm being harsh. :confused3
Harsh maybe...but....I am a firm believer if following through on what you say. My DH and I have a "no threats policy." If you tell them that X will happen if they do Y than if they do Y...X will most certainly happen! That goes for good and bad. If you pick up your toys we will do a puzzle together. After the toys are picked up...we do a puzzle. If you knock over your sister I will take away 3 trains...then he will lose 3 trains if he knocks her over. Jake is only 3 and he already knows that mom and dad mean business! I'm not saying we don't have our moments...because we do....but he knows there will be a price to pay.

Patsy - I was looking at your website again. How on earth do you work full time, make quilts, and DIS? Do you think you will ever do quilts full time? I don't know about you but my mom says it makes her fingers sore. I realize she doesn't do the quantity that you do so maybe her fingers are out of shape. She is currently getting Eliza's ready to put into the frame.

WILD SIDE UPDATE

ok i called DCL...Apparently yes they are only offering Wild Side on Friday...

So everyone who has signed up for it today...if you check your ressies...the kids are listed as going on Friday...

This really stinks because i wanted us all to go on the catamaran trip.

Since Wild side trip ends at 1:10 and the catamaran trip leaves at 1:15 they have said that teens would not be able to make it in time......

Guess it'll just be Andy and I then on the Island tour.....

Thats funny that they keep changing this , the last time I called they said they were only doing it on Sunday and not Friday ....Who knows by the time of the cruise maybe they will ship it again ...

U R so sweet!
I work part time so I can be home with DD in the afternoons. Quilting allows me to do that. I don't "Quilt" the quilts but "tie" them. (Ask your Mom) It's actually better for the shirts in the long run not to have so many puctures in them. And, my fingers look like swiss cheese. I have a chip in my right middle fingernail that will never go away.
As far as DISsing goes. I use a time warp machine.

BTW, 6 weeks and 6 quilts to go, but they are all small easy ones.

Oh and don't forget! I never cook but make my family scrounge for food by themselves.

Just back from the Halloween parade at Walt's preschool. So cute. The teachers all had DISNEY-themed costumes to lead their classes. His teachers were Pooh and Piglet. There was a Minnie/Mickey class, a Woody/Jessie class, a Hook/crocodile one and a Mike/Sully one. Really well-done!

My DS is on my lap and really wants to start his day with "Happy Smilies" so here it goes:

 :cool1: :cheer2: :dance3: :hourglass :moped: :furious: :scared1: :offtopic: :beach: : party: :dancer: :rockband: :cake: :jumping2: :jumping3: :car: :dumbo: :simba: :goofy: :figment: :dogdance: :fish: :mickeyjum
Thank you for the smiles this morning, Jake. It is Jake not Jack that you have today, right? :lmao:

Just have a little time to get caught up!

Jon Bon Jovi - :thumbsup2 I LOVE him! Just don’t tell DH! :ssst: :rotfl:

I still think Lisa is behind the Kelly thing. If it is not her posting then she is having another moderator post for her. :scratchin I don’t think she is Ty that would be another moderator.

 Mark! It is nice to see you posting again. I bet you never imagined that your little post would grow into this monster thread. We can all now personally blame you for taking over our lives. :rotfl:

Great pictures everyone! I hope to have a few to add this evening after ToT’ing. The kids are all dressed up and they looked great this morning. Nathan is particularly excited about his power ranger costume. There were already 3 Power Rangers in his class when I dropped him off and a few more were expected. I really don’t envy the preschool teachers on Halloween. That class must be a mad house – especially with the boys. They all appeared to be either power rangers or superheros.

I have another way to look at how close our cruise is approaching. There will be only 5 more groups of passengers on the Magic before it is our turn. That does not seem very far away! :woohoo:

We might have a babysitter for Friday night so I might get my own date night in just a few days! :woohoo: Brandi….do you have any date night tips? ;)
