Hi all!
I'll catch up soon; milestone coming up.
We had two Halloween parties today (and Tuesday is more parties at school and regular trick or treat).
So here's Little Bo Peep:

I turned on the heat for a couple days last week. It was 30 outside & very cold during the night even with the water bed.

My Dh and I both had waterbeds when we met. We had one as our bed when we got married for about 2 years. We both had backaches all of the time! When we finally got a "real" bed we got one with the pillow top mattress. It has been a dream ever since! Bye bye backache!

Wonder if Brandi, Caroline or Karen lost power today. The winds were fierce around here and there are spotty outages.

We had power....I was just doing the family thing. I was so tired last night. The halloween party weekend always takes it out of us. So much work pre party. I still have to upload my pics. I really do have a lot to post.

Well, nothing is planned for either class at the moment. I have cups, plates, & napkins to send in & would go out & get treats too if I knew what was going on.

It's a shame....around here and DC...THey won't let the kids have parties....

BTW for those of you wondering this weekend has completely thrown off my calculations about the # of posts we will eventually hit. If things continue at this rate we probably will not even hit 60k. In fact this weekend will probably be enough to ensure that we do not hit 70k before the cruise.

Things have seemed slow....I'll try to do better Becka.

Ebay update from my rant last night.....

The seller sent an email to the ebay account saying she didn't know they were for holiday and that kids were sick and she sent email earlier in the week..... (well we never got an email)

Anyway i saw first that she refunded our money.....(so i took that to mean that she was keeping the item) Then i notice in the other email that she was sending them and refunding the money..........

That's nice.... Worthy of good feedback....

I'll see how they are when we get them....

I'm thinking of giving at least half of the money back though....

One thing that shocked me (and DD13) at the party tonight. People do NOT know their pirates. Now, I realize that many do not know Captain Feathersword because that's a preschool thing. But at the party there were several Captain Hooks and many Captain jack sparrows, one Davy Jones and a few general pirates. People would just say to any of these kids, "Look, it's a pirate. How cute." I guess we are way too pirate obsessed, but you have to recognize Hook and Captain Jack, right????

Our captain would be proud of you!!

I greatly underestimated the time it will take for my pics to upload to shutterfly. It said..."over 11 hours!!!!" for 90 pics! I should have just gone to my DMom's house. She isn't home and I really didn't feel like dragging my kids out.

I don't think any of the kids will be leaving the dance floor - he will have plenty of dancing companions.

One more story from the Halloween party tonight. We decided to leave while the party was still happening (long day, DD13 was really tired, etc). Had to pull Walt off the dance floor. Got his tears calmed down. Then he said, "But I have to DANCE, Mommy!" Carried him away and he looked back at the dance floor and said, "Please, go back that way!"
So, I'm looking for a volunteer on the cruise who wants to stay on the dance floor all night with a 3-year-old...

Marielle - he can dance with my 7 and 9 year old sons....THEY ARE DANCE CRAZY!!!!

So now it looks like DCL has to watch out for the DIS Geeks on the dance floor all night, too!
