11am Akershus

Has anyone been to Akershus around 11am? That's the time that works best for our schedule, but it looks like it's the very end of breakfast.

Is the food still fresh then?

Are the Princesses still around for the kids? DS is 3 and is dying to meet them (he really wants to marry Ariel or Belle).

We don't care if it's breakfast or lunch food, but I don't want to be eating food that's been sitting out for hours.

I would think that would be a lunch ADR. We had an 11:20 ADR in March and we were served lunch. If it's lunch, then everything will have just been put out. If it's breakfast, the buffet area is mostly fruit, bagels, etc. The rest of the food is brought out family style so you should have no problems with it being fresh.

The Princesses are there basically all day so no worries there. They rotate around the room, take a brief break and then come back out.

Thanks for the replies! I thought it was lunch as well, but then when I went back and looked at the menu, it says breakfast is 8:30 - 11:10 and lunch is 11:40 - 2:50. It's interesting you had lunch at 11:20. lol I guess we'll wait and see what the menu is. It won't matter either way to us, but I'm glad it will be fresh either way and DS will be thrilled to meet them Princesses.

We've had breakfast reservations at 10:40 and it was total kaos. We finally got to seated around 11:15 -11:30 after waiting outside for the majority of the time.

Yikes. Maybe I should move my 10:30 breakfast to 9:30. We will be there on Nov. 12 though so I'm thinking it might not be too busy? I don't want to waste time outside though.

We're also going Nov 12! I think we're going to keep out 11am though. Hopefully, the "in between" time will be less crowded.

We had a 10:50 am breakfast at Akershus. It was breakfast at that time closer to noon is when the buffet was being switched over to lunch items.

It was still busy, people arriving and leaving. The princesses were there and made their way around to the tables-except Belle she was there for the photo before you are seated.
