I plugged your times into Dollar and Thrifty too. For these dates, sound like a good deal. You can always snag it at this rate and keep checking. If the rate goes down, book one at the new rate and cancel the old. I found that Sat night is a good time to check.

Also, join the FastBreak, Dollar's FastLane & Thrifty's Blue Chip programs.

I think with Budget, you'll need to book using the codes then email them to add the FastBreak #.

I did enter that code(6600330), and the free day code and the EWEB code...three codes I entered all together....this was without the Emerald Club...I am not a member. Still can save $6.00 more dollars????

Yikes! Don't touch that reservation!!!

I just checked on how to get the rate that both Kitster and I came up with yesterday and saw the rates just went up ! You got it just in time.

ETA: Your next step is to become an Emerald Club member. There's a link to join for free over at Mousesavers. You'll have to provide CC information and they will bill that CC automatically. Then, call National and have them change your service method from "counter" to "emerald aisle". Don't do it online, or it may change your rate. The Emerald Aisle is a cool place. You can choose any car off a special aisle of parked cars. They are a minimum of an Intermediate and there are often Full Size cars there too. I once scored a very cute PT Cruiser . Anyway ... you just pick out your car and drive it to the exit. Make sure you have a printout of your paperwork and your coupon and you are on your way!
