As far as the job losses, Van, You know I love you and am in your fan club for the moment until you kick me out, but I have a hard time losing sleep over 54 jobs with the unemployment numbers still at under 6% in most areas. A good number of those 6% are people who choose not to work. I have faith those particular 54 people are going to find work, and soon.

Don't worry. If Kerry wins I hear he personally will find every unemployed person in the USA a job.

Even those who don't want one, as referenced in my last post? Kerry is the guy for me! What would happen to Welfare? Unecessary? Why he must be turning Republican in front of my very eyes!

I don't think so

The U.S troops removed from Iraqi soil - the Iraqi people to take over the running of their country ( not a puppet regime that is in place now )

Civil war then? They are working on destroying their best chance for a good economy, their oil. If we leave now they would most likely divide into factions and destroy thier income production possibilities for good. They need to be taught how to grow stronger as a nation. If they were strong enough to begin with, we would not have had to help them get rid of Saddam. They are, by the way, even according to liberal polls by and large, happy that we did that.

Travel worker Rachel Harris was hailed a "hero" at her company's lavish awards ceremony - and then told she was being made redundant as she celebrated winning her prize trip to New York.

The bombshell came days after Rachel was personally praised by Sir Richard Branson as one of the top staff at Norfolk's Virgin Travelstore at a glittering, black tie event.

But just 11 days after the champagne flowed at the Virgin Atlantic Heroes Awards, Rachel was told she was among 230 workers at the company to lose their jobs.

It is thought she was in New York enjoying her trip-of-a- lifetime prize when she learned that she and her colleagues were being made redundant.

Whats those stories got to do with new U.S visa rules

People lose their jobs every day. You said you were concerned about the 54 losing their jobs. Why aren't you posting rantings about those others losing their jobs?

So you don't like the visa rules the US has. BFD. Go blame the terrorists. The US doesn't exist to keep people wanting to visit this country happy.
