What time of day can you make a request for your home resort ? (Midnight, 6AM, 8 AM ) And is the time Eastern Standard Time ? Thanks for any help

Good question... and I hope you don't mind if I piggyback on your question and add another... is the 11 month out based on the check-in date or the check-out date? (I know, Im a newb!)

Hypothetical example: if you wanted a home-resort reservation for a trip on August 23-29, what date/time could you make the reservation?

Right now the primary way of booking is via telephone to Member Services. MS opens at 9am eastern daily so that's the earliest you could call.

If you use the link on the member website, basically all it does is send an email request which Member Services manually handles at some time after they open at 9am.

An on-line reservation system is being developed but DVC has not announced specifics on what time members will be able to book relative to the 11/7 month windows.

It's 11 months to check-in day. So for August 23, 11 months would be September 23. You can book up to 7 nights at the window, so you could book September 23 to 29, check-out September 30. If you want to stay longer than that, you have to either call daily to add the additional nights or wait until you hit the last day. So if you wanted to check-out on October 3, you could wait 3 more days and book the rest (September 26). The 7 night limit only applies at the 11/7 month window.
