11-month booking opens for 4-nights on March 1, 2026, is that a wild morning?

So I checked the Booking Window Calculator on the DVC dashboard.

11-month booking for Jan 29, 30, 31, And Feb 1, 2027 is all on the morning of March 1, 2026.

Anyone have experiences or advice as I assume the DVC site will go down with increased traffic that morning and I am trying to book a 6-night stay starting Jan 30, 2027.

Because Feb has fewer days than any other month, that is an annual issue. That late Jan to Feb 1 period has not actually had any worse issues than many other times that already exist for shutting members out because of overload, probably because that time is not a high DVC demand time, e.g., shut out problems are worse if seeking Oct through Dec times. Also, whether you are shut out generally depends on what you are seeking at 11-months out, e.g., trying to reserve OKW or SSR is easy in comparison to trying to reserve BWV resort view or AKV value or club level, all of which the system year round often starts blocking members from getting in to do a reservation within moments after 8 a.m. at 11-months out.

There is also walking to consider, at least a short walk, e.g., on Feb 28 go online and try to book six nights beginning Jan 28, and then "walk" the reservation for two days, dropping the arrival date and adding a new departure date until you have a six night reservation beginning Jan 30.

Ok it’s good to know it’s not particularly worse than other times of the year.

I booked on 3/1/25 for a trip starting 1/31/26. I was concerned because I was booking 2 villas - a 2 br. & a studio in the OG VGF building. I had no issues, no glitches, no stitch eating my pages etc. . I think it helps that the first week of Feb. isn’t a high demand time.
