Well we finally made it back from another wonderful WDW vacation :goodvibes and I decided instead of a long trip report, I'd just give a final grade to some major categories.

The band of merry men included myself :joker: my DH  2 teenage sons and a niece. :dance3: Dsis and DBIL

Resort grade A. We stayed at the villas at Wilderness Lodge. What can I say, this resort is outstanding. One of the best themed resorts on site. We had a 2 bedroon villa that had more than enough space for us. The master bathroom had a huge jacuzzi tub and a separate shower area, allowing 2 people to get ready at the same time. 2nd bedroom had 2 queen size beds and another bathroom. The resort itself is gorgeous and it never took more than 10 mins to get a boat to the MK. Resort pool was a little small, but it does have a water slide and there is a quiet pool also.

Mousekeeping A- This is a hard category for me because we are DVC members so we don't get daily mousekeeping. Upon arrival, the room was spotless and on the days we did have mousekeeping it was done efficiently and quickly. When I called mousekeeping to request more towels they responded immediately and were very friendly. I gave it a B, because one of the burners on the stove did not work but since I really only eat breakfast in the room, it was not a major issue.

Parks and attendance. B The last week in August is a fabulous time to go! The crowds are extremely low. We never needed a FP as the average wait was 15-20 minutes. We did hit TT one time and the wait was 40 minutes for regular standby but only 10 minutes for the single rider line. We happily split up and rode it 3X. At Expedition Everest they didn't even have the FP machine turned on because the wait was only 20 minutes. On Wednesday Ernesto blew through and every one must have panic because the parks were absolutely empty. I didn't give it a A because I was a little disappointed at the gift shops. Use to be a time were each gift shop was tailored to the ride. Now it seems the merchandise is all the same in every gift shop. I mean do we really need PoC merchandise in every gift shop.

As always we are ready to go back again and a fun time was had by all.

fantastic reviews........thanks for taking the time to tell us that. I would love to go and have only waits of 20 minutes or so......sounds awesome......thanks again

I hope a decent discount comes out for Easter week, I would love to switch my POR for the Wilderness Lodge. I've been trying for 6 years to go the last week in August til the beginning of Sept. Maybe one day, it will work.
