At our hotel now-
Saw the Magic in port today when we went over the bridge prior to her departure (7 night Western).........
Met a family at AKL at noonish who were probably on a Land & Sea package; they were getting ready to get onto the DCL bus to go to the Magic for their cruise.

Of course someone at work contaminated me.... I now have a cold that I'm hoping to shake down to minimum by tomorrow. I'd love to come to the 3 pm meeting on Deck 10 but I don't want to make anyone else sick either. I do have plenty of Purell with me though.

Please say you don't mind me showing up

Hi everyone!

I didn't want anyone to think we stood them up. I totally misread our meeting place and we were on deck 10 port side at 3pm, not the side facing the port. I came back to the room to double check and saw my error. I went back up at 3:25 and didn't see anyone.

I was in a purple Mickey shirt and had a baby on me the first time and was solo the second trip. By the time everyone reads this we would have had a great time on the boat!

We are home and settled. Sorry we weren't able to meet up with most of you. My DD naps between 1-ish to 4-ish everday so I couldn't make the meet (The life boat drill announcement woke her up on Sun.)

for all the WONDERful FE gifts. They all were great and DD loved finding new goodies in Stitch everytime we went back to the cabin. Thank you for making the cruise even more special.

We did re-book the 11/27/2011 cruise while on board. Anyone else?

It was great meeting jhoshowski and your group, and thanks for letting my princess squeeze in for the Pirate Party. She was so tired we had to leave a bit early, we probably missed the fireworks by 5 minutes.

We loved every minute!

Oh, and Palo brunch I think was one my highlights, the Exotic Rausal(sp) was fun too!

Anyone going to Disapaloza?

I got some good stories I will add later. I just wanted to say hi!

sorry, i didnt' get to meet anyone of you on the cruise as I forgot about this meet and havent' kept up with the thread. Cruise was awesome! Wish we continued on, oh our room was 2008 incase some of you was down the hall. seas were a little rough leaving CC but the pirate night party was great, a little on the chilly side up on deck 10.

THANKS!!!!!!! Everyone for the great gifts!!! Love the tote bag!!! This was quite a "vacation" for us; needing a vacation FROM a vacation!! I'm sorry we didn't meet up with everyone, but the FE's were a great treat to find. I'm still feeling the rocking of the boat as I type!!! Thanks again everyone!!!!

Hi Everyone....the cruise was WONDERful!

Sorry we didn't get to meet up . . . the kids were heading all which ways when we got on the ship trying to take it all in . . . we were almost late for the drill.

Thanks everyone so much for the FE gifts....my little one was so excited each time something was in it....he'd go running down the hall checking and grabbing the stuff out.

It was so cute too....if my older ones would turn the corner and see someone at our door...they would turn my little one around so he didn't see it happening....it was too cute. At times I think he was more excited about that then the cruise lol . . . we could have saved alot of money if I had known that lmao....joking.

Anyway...hope everyone had a blast...we did. . . and maybe we'll catch up on a future cruise. I booked on board a future one...but I couldn't decide on dates on their due to my high schooler's schedule. So I booked one just to lock in on discount and OBC and switch the date.


Now to unpacking uggggg

We got caught FEing by one group, and almost got caught by another- but ducked around the corner and hid quick! My DH thought I was nuts when I was making plans to participate before the cruise- but he's gung ho about it now for the next one!

We also rebooked for 11/27/11!!

Thanks everyone- and we were the non-bagged Sweet Tarts, Flag mints, Sudoku books/water toys/bracelets/bubbles/and Lindor Truffles. I hope that everybody enjoyed them!

LOL I think that was my husband. He told me he saw a couple at our door when he was turning the corner one time

I'm glad you liked the pictures. I had intention of making a home-made Christmas ornament but I was lucky I got on the boat as it was due to unexpected things happening the week before we were suppose to leave.

My carry-on carried all those envelopes with the pictures lol it was heavy lol. Again at that time my DH thought I was a bit crazy, but after he did it and saw the kids faces (even my older ones got into it ) he "got it" and was glad we did it.

Me & Dena would also like to thank everyone for the wonderful gifts! Our boys thought they were great. Our gifts were the photo albums, gum, pixie sticks, and planners.

We could not find anyone on deck 10, we got there about 3:15. Running late as usual.

Hi guys, thanks for all the fab gifts in our FE, my kids had a great time finding stuff every time we returned to our room I hope you liked the stuff I put in yours.

We had a good cruise but nearly never made it! We got really poorly with a virus after arriving and spent our week in the villa feeling really rubbish instead of enjoying Orlando We were convinced we had swine flu and when the baby got ill ,I took us all to the nearest clinic. It cost a whopping $1030 for us all to be checked and get a flu test. We were diagnosed with a viral syndrome and got the all clear to cruise. Thankfully we had insurance and will get most off it back.

I did go to Deck 10 at 3pm but couldn't see anyone who looked likely but it was a very busy time as we swam straight away and then visited flounders and the oceaneers lab, checked out our rooms and had to rush to make the drill!

So after rain in Orlando a delayed flight and having 2 hours wait for our baggage at Gatwick yesterday because they got some crates lodged in the plane! followed by a 3 hour drive it was some relief to get home yesterday! we did book a cruise onboard to take advantage of the discounts, at the moment it is aboard the Dream on the 1st December 2011 but this is subject to change. At the moment I need a rest to get over the Vacation and may push it forward again so DS will be older still as flying longhaul with 3 kids was hard work!

Hi all - thanks for the GREAT FE gifts. The kids loved it! It was great to meet HallsInTheKingdom. We all loved the cruise and hope to go again in a few years. My DH ended up with a sinus infection the day we left the ship for Universal Studios. The desk staff at the Hard Rock recommended a medical service that came right to the hotel, and the doctor brought along antibiotics that he dispensed on the spot, so the vacation wasn't ruined. We did have an 8 hour delay at the Orlando airport yesterday. It was awful. Two and a half hours of it were spent on the plane, before they sent us back to the terminal. When we finally got on the plane, I realized that I had left the lithographs in the terminal! I was NOT leaving them behind - I already had plans on where I was going to hang them - so, like a fish swimming upstream, I pushed my way back out of that plane!!
The trip was great and the FE was so much fun - thanks to everyone who participated!
