Hi everyone!

My first posts of 2008. . . I have lots to catch up on!

Our big excitement was the tornado last week. I had to call Shell to find out what all had happened because the radio coverage in our area was HORRIBLE!

The tornado hit about 2 miles south of our house. Our only problem was no power for 24 hours.

The apple orchard that was hit is where I bought my regional gifts for our Nana Head meets these past two years. Luckily, the trees weren't damaged so they should be open this fall.

Gotta get ready for "Gym Night" at school. I'll try to get caught up and check back in soon!!!!

Hope all is well with everyone.

Lorna - I have so many funny stories to tell about my grandbabies but don't want to bore everyone with them. Every once in a while I'll post one. I'll even try to post a few pictures - yes Kathy, I've been saying that I am going to do that. And I will - someday!

I'm just checking in to say hi. I'm trying to keep Kathy happy.

You all keep our daughter in your thoughts and prayers. Her soon to be ex is giving her an awful time about mini mutt's custody. She has emergency temp custody as of now, but he's fighting it.

So, now I'm waiting to see if we are going to get a bigger place or book separate cabins. I'm waiting..............

Afternoon all:

I know I have been missing in action the last couple of days....but I have been reading just not enough time to post.

Not much is going on...my son & I can now call her my future daughter-in-law are buying a townhome....so they have been looking....we went Sunday afternoon for a second look at one place, which they decided against...tonite we are going for a second look at another place...they look first then ask me and her dad to come for a second look for our opinion.... see they still need us even when they think there all grown up

Well we are heading for some freezing weather this weekend...they are talking only a high of 10 on saturday....yikes I hate this weather..... Kathy can I move in with you until spring?

Well gotta go at work and my lunch is just about over....
