Gailyn,
Bob, Denise Shell, Pat and myself, are going as couples.

No kids, but Cheri does have kids but I am not sure of the ages.
I know more people with kids will be joining us as the cruise gets closer.

Cheri, did you notice I got your name right??:lmao:

DH asked me if there are any kids the same age in group. DD will be 11 and DS will be 9. They really enjoyed having pen pals the last two trips. Is there a list on any of the previous pages with names and cabin numbers??

Well, off to make dip for my nephew's birthday party tonight.

Have a great weekend!

Gailyn:)

Gailyn -
We haven't booked this cruise yet but we were on the 06 and are going on the 07..so I think chances are we'll be booking onboard this year. Our oldest DD will be 10 when this cruise rolls around ( yikes how did that happen?) and aren't the 10-12 year olds in the same group in Oceaneer's Lab? If that's true, I know DD will love having a pen pal this early - she made BFF with a girl on the cruise last year and has started corresponding with someone from the upcoming trip.

Jeff

Just dropping by to say good night after causing trouble on the 07 thread.

I am starting to feel better so getting mean again I guess:goodvibes

Hopefully tomarrow will be back to normal, what ever that is??:lmao:

Kathy

Jeff,

Thanks for letting me know. I think our DD would love that. The kids both had a few pen pals the last two cruises and it made a big difference in their trip. They made some very good friends!

We haven't officially booked this cruise yet either. We are booked for a Dec '07 Western. But, we unexpectedly are moving next month. We found a house by word of mouth that we have always loved. So, we put our house up for sale in July. Since we don't know if we'll be owning two houses for a time, we're cancelling the '07 date and booking for '08.

We love the time after Thanksgiving and before Christmas on DCL and WDW. Our last two cruises have been the week or two after Thanksgiving.Anyway, DH is confirming his schedule and then we'll book.

All for now!

Gailyn

Morning everyone,

well accept for a bad headache I am doing better today. But the heat is coming again today:scared: so i need to get a few groceries early today or I may ask Greg to get them If I dont feel strong enough to shop.

I hope everyone is having a great weekend. Mine has been restful, since i have spent most of it laying down and resting.

I'll check back later to see how everyone is today,

Kathy

Good morning everyone!

Well, a cold front has arrived and we are only supposed to get up to 95 degrees today here in Atlanta. Woo-hoo!:headache:

Jeff: Of course you are booking this cruise. Was there every any question?

Kathy: Hope you feel better soon!

Denise: Whatever!:rolleyes1

Good morning everyone :)

Kathy - I'm glad you're feeling a little better. I hope you get all your "meaness" back soon :wizard:

Everyone in my house is still sleeping and I have peace and quiet to surf the Dis :surfweb: Ah, another perfect start to the day!:surfweb:

I left a message for our TA last Thurs. to check on changing our cruise date to this one and she still hasn't called back. I'll have to call again on Monday afternoon if I haven't heard from her.

Have a good day!

I can't decide if that means you're still sick or are getting better!:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Our DD will be 7 1/2 for the 2008 cruise (assuming we go), so she's a bit young for Gailyn's kids. . .

Hope everyone else is doing well today!

Have a good one!!

Cheri

Hi everyone, Picked DD up from camp yesterday. She had fun. Her allergies are really acting up and she has'nt been feeling very well. Went to church this morning. This afternoon I have to go to a funeral. My friends dad passed away:sad1: I also have to get ready for another camping trip. This time we are going to Algonac. It is right an the St Clair river. We watch these huge freighters go by. One time we even saw a cruise ship sail by. It is fun to ship watch.

Gailyn-I have 2 daughters. At the time of the cruise they will be 9 and 12.

Kathy-I hope you continue to feel batter.

Denise and Bob you guys are too funny!!:lmao: :lmao:

By the way I think I have just about talked 2 of our neighbor familes into going with us:thumbsup2 They all have kids raniging in age from 3-9

Kathy

Good morning everyone!
Jeff: Of course you are booking this cruise. Was there every any question?

Bob - Don't wanna count my consulting chickens if you know what I mean. I am SURE we'll book this one onboard barring any very bizarre circumstances - the fact that it is a western is so cool. we liked the western when we did it last August...and I think we probably prefer eastern overall..but I LOVE LOVE LOVE Grand Cayman. With my luck the 08 will get switched to a "special" Cruise, replacing GC with Costa Maya or something like that.

For you plan ahead folks....you must consider Paradise Beach in Cozumel. We had such a good time there. Buckets of beer for something like 10 bucks (if that), great chips and salsa....super service, lots of activities and beautiful setting. The only thing missing was a pool but I've read that Tom (the owner) is building one so maybe it'll be ready for our trip. The ocean had some rocks in it on one side..but the other side was sandy bottom. Water trampoline, Water iceberg climber, parasailing, hair braiding and henna tattoos, wave runners, kayaking, etc. etc. Some of the activities were included if you bought a wristband (10 bucks each if I remember correctly) including the iceberg, trampoline and kayaking...

Anyway..just some west caribbean dreaming......

Good Afternoon    ,
Well today was a realxing day for us because we did soooooooooo much packing yesterday:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 . My Mom and Dad came up and my mom took DS to the Mall and my dad helped me and DH pack. We have all the kitchen packed for afew things to for cooking till we move. I got all the pictures packed from the upstairs and downstairs. My living room is a mountain of boxes:scared1: . So DS made out very well shopping with Grandma. Everything he pointed to she got him. So we have a train and a Elmo vacuum;) ;) ;) . Just got back from the pool. Spent 3 hours there and boy was it realxing for me;) ;) ;) . Well I am off to get wash in the dryer:laundy: :laundy:. Talk to you tomorrow. Have a good rest of the weekend.

Lorna: Have a great camping trip:banana:  !!

Kathy: Glad you are feeling better:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 !!

Dropping by to say another early good night.
I did a couple of small things around the house today and discovered I was feeling worse so had to sit down again.:scared:

I did put the sitting to good use though, I watched the Wonder pull out tonight!! :goodvibes

Poor Greg, he had a TV dinner for dinner. Last night he ordered Pizza. If you've tasted TV dinners lately you know what I am talking about. YUCKY!! Guess I have him spoiled with cooking from scratch all these years. At least we had some good fruit to go with it.

Hope everyone had a good weekend.

I'll check back tomarrow to say hello.

Kathy

Evening all: Well not much going on here. Went to Chicago this morning to visit with my dad. Then came home and did nothing......which was really nice.. Just finished cooking dinner and cleaning up that mess.

Well we start another week....the boss will be back tomorrow, so I most likely with not be posting until the evening. Gotta be good, since I need her to approve my October vacation so I can see Mickey.

Kathy: Feel better soon...
Lorna: Wow another camping trip....have fun.
Jeff: Hoping you book this trip....

Bob: Ummmm not sure what to say???:confused3 But glad to see that your behaving yourself.

What? No love for the Woo?

Good evening all:

Well it looks as though we have bought a house. We made a bid at 5ish and had a counter offer by 7, counter by 730, and they countered around 830. It went through like a greased pig. We are going to make sure that we still have the interest rate that we want and then we can get the contract signed (completely) and get Hunter enrolled by tuesday when he has orientation. It all happened the way it is suppose to. Closing is the 30. This should be fun. Just thought I would share. Yah. Good night all.
