Well, I have barly survived the past 4 days with the in-laws...it was so bad I was excited to come to work this morning...I think I could actually cry right now. Poor Joey is taking the brunt of my frustration because I would never yell at my in-laws but I really really want to. Just a quick recap:

DMIL:
Purchased a sweater that was too big from K Mart and has spent the last 5 days trying to figure out when she should exchange it.
I can not cut Zucchini the right way.
Couldn't go to the mall on Monday morning because she had to make sauce...didn't get off the couch until Noon.
Poured two large cans of crushed tomates into my blender and turned it on...didn't have the blades in so I had tomato sauce all over my newly cleaned kitchen.
Told my sister that I don't like to get my hands wet because I wanted to use the dishwasher to clean glasses.
Has spent 5 days trying to figure out what she should wear to my sister's wedding in May.

DFIL:
Spent a 1/2 hour talking about how crazy our cousins family is...while I was trying to watch the WDW Parade.
Left front door open...both dogs got out...thank goodness they did not go to far.
Took a nap during our Christmas Eve party because there weren't enough seats and it was too loud.
Accused my MIL of being an alcholic because she was looking at wine in the supermarket.

That's just the stuff I can remember...it's been bad. I think next year they can come here but we will go to Hawaii.

Sorry for venting...

On a positive note...I got Joey Rock Band for his playstation and we played for 2 hours yesterday...it was a lot of fun. I was the singer.

Hi there, Sounds like everyone had a good Christmas We continued ours today. We spent the day with my family. It was a nice day. We got a WII. The kids are playing it right now. It looks like a lot of fun!! Next Monday we celebrate Christmas with Johns side of the family. That should prove to be interesting with all that is going on with his sister and brother.

Tomorrow we are visiting with my cousins. Then we are going to see some friends. This is going to be a really busy week.

We have some other neighbors who will most likely be booking this cruise in the next week or so I talked to her this morning. The only thing she is worried about is the late dining. I told her she would most likely be able to be switched if she books soon.

Kathy-We did link our dining with our friends. Let me know when you want our information and I will PM you.

well I spent a good deal of yesterday getting up all the dog hair, so today is .
Unfortunately it is going to be in the 80 for the next few days
But New Years will be a cold front from all our friends up north and next wednesday our low is 32 and high around 54 they predict.

I think I will put on a pot of stew and biscuits that day or a pot of chili and cornbread. some nice cold weather foods for a change.


Who has plans for New Years? Anybody hosting or going to a party?

We will stay home and watch movies. Greg will fall asleep about 9 p.m. until the dogs start barking with all the noises at midnight. Peter and I are the only ones who ever manage to stay up that late. Of course at his age he wont be sitting up with his mom, he will be with friends I'm sure, unless he works late that night.

I haven't yet downloaded music but was just playing with the wifi feature at home last night. Very cool so long as you can find free wifi ....

Sounds like everyone had a very nice Christmas!!! Well our Christmas was very nice and DS loved all his new toys from Santa .

Our Disney World vacation was very nice too but the weather was alittle chilly for Florida (30 degrees). We actually have to leave Magic Kingdom because DS was so cold that we cold not warm if up!!! We went back the next day and got to finish the park. I think my son's favorite ride was the Pooh ride and Dumbo. He cried when he had to get off. I also got to meet Cinderella which made my day!!! We also got granted a Dream from a Castmember which was the Dream Fastpass. We also stayed to see the Castle it up which was amazing to see. We also ate for the 1st time in Chef Mickey and boy was that good!!! We had a table which overlook the Castle and we got to watch the wishes fireworks from there. DS loved Animal Kingdom because of all the animals and DH said that the new roller coaster was amazing!! MGM was okay not alot for DS to do. We went to Ecpot and had breakfast with the Princess since my niece was there and that was nothing great. The Norway breakfast was an interesting breakfast!! And they only had 5 Princesses and that included Mary Poppins and not Snow White or Cinderella. We also went for the 1st time to Blizzard Beach which was alot of fun but again it was alittle chilly to be swimming. DH and DS loved the lazy river. They were in there for hours!! Ofcourse we checked out downtown Disney and did some shopping and got ice cream which was so YUMMY!!
We got to do all the parks the 1st half of the week which was nice because it was not too crowded. Wow, you woould not believe that crowds at the end of the week. You were being stepped on and people were crashing into the stroller. It was crazy!! The flight home was terrible was we were delayed an hour and then we circled to land in Newark for an almost an hour in a 1/2. That got me a little sick to my stomach. Christmas Eve we just ate at my in-laws and came right home because we were so tired from the flight!!
Well yesterday DS and I got the food shopping done and all the mounds of wash from vacation. Today we are just realxing!!

Good morning Lynn,
glad to hear you had a good trip. Greg and I thought about you guys often when it was so cold outside. We loved the cooler weather but did wonder if it was too cold for you guys.
It is in the 80's now, but next Wednesday it will cool off again.
WE LOVE CHEF MICKEYS!! I am glad you got to experience it this time.

HEY! I finally saw a picture of Cal! Billy sent me the one of Cal & Jessalyn!

Regarding Fish Extenders ... I see that Dawn is actually selling custom ones on ebay! Isn't that a cool idea? We need to get the word spread on the DIS so she gets lots of business!!!
