Merry Day after Christmas to all bananaheads. Hope everyone had a magical day.

We had a blast here. Spoiled the kids rotten but a friend once said to me if the worst thing you do to your kids is spoil them then you're still doing okay. The best moments were Emily opening her Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Polly Pocket cruiseship Elizabeth her iPod Nano. And the best of all is that we had kept this January trip to WDW secret up until now so we packed a bag with some Disney stuff (slippers, an ornament, t-shirts and washcloths) and had the girls open them one by one. Then I had a picture of the Grand Floridian for each of them at the bottom of the bag. I asked if they figured out the surprise at the end of the bag. And Elizabeth excitedly said "we're staying at the Grand Floridian on our spring break trip!!" I said...no - we're going on January 17 for a long weekend. I thought they both were going to jump out of their skin.

Forgot to mention that *I* got an Ipod Touch. Havne't had a chance to play with it yet, what with all the assembling of toys and setting up of various games. Elizabeth is playing High School Musical Sing It on the WII as I sit here typing. Very fun.

Well Happy day after Christmas. It sounds as though everyone had a good time. I did also. My son and his girlfriend did a great job hosting Christmas day. I got to meet his girlfriends mother. She was very nice and we seemed to get along well together.....hummmm very intersting....maybe thats a good sign..... Of course they are not ready for marriage yet, but her mom and I are ready for them to get married....
But had a very nice time between Christmas eve and day. But I am also glad its over. Now I can officially start my cruise countdown.

Kathy: I have told my friend Sue to get on the boards and start chatting...so hopefully she will.

Well gotta go since I have to work the next few days.....(its been pure h---
here already this morning) and cant wait till lunch so we can turn our phones over to service.

Well, I have barly survived the past 4 days with the in-laws...it was so bad I was excited to come to work this morning...I think I could actually cry right now. Poor Joey is taking the brunt of my frustration because I would never yell at my in-laws but I really really want to. Just a quick recap:

DMIL:
Purchased a sweater that was too big from K Mart and has spent the last 5 days trying to figure out when she should exchange it.
I can not cut Zucchini the right way.
Couldn't go to the mall on Monday morning because she had to make sauce...didn't get off the couch until Noon.
Poured two large cans of crushed tomates into my blender and turned it on...didn't have the blades in so I had tomato sauce all over my newly cleaned kitchen.
Told my sister that I don't like to get my hands wet because I wanted to use the dishwasher to clean glasses.
Has spent 5 days trying to figure out what she should wear to my sister's wedding in May.

DFIL:
Spent a 1/2 hour talking about how crazy our cousins family is...while I was trying to watch the WDW Parade.
Left front door open...both dogs got out...thank goodness they did not go to far.
Took a nap during our Christmas Eve party because there weren't enough seats and it was too loud.
Accused my MIL of being an alcholic because she was looking at wine in the supermarket.

That's just the stuff I can remember...it's been bad. I think next year they can come here but we will go to Hawaii.

Sorry for venting...

On a positive note...I got Joey Rock Band for his playstation and we played for 2 hours yesterday...it was a lot of fun. I was the singer.

Wanna feel even more jealous? Cheri wasn't the ONLY one I talked to over the holidays ...
