Hello Everyone!!

Thought I'd post some pictures of our crazy weather and some of our home being dried out! These were taken today about an hour ago!!

My driveway leading up to the garage. Its almost all drifted in!

The mailman couldn't deliver my mail today. Too much snow!! I had it shoveled out this morning!

All the fans and dehumidifers trying to dry out my house! They are so loud!! (This is upstairs)

Paint sliding off the walls!! The rest of the pictures are of the damage in the basement

Thought I'd throw one in of my two youngest taking a bath! The older one who looks like he's trying to shave (Brayden) is the one that caused all the flooding...

:faint: :faint: OMG that is worse than I could have ever imagined.

The pictures of the snow are beautiful...glad I don't have to drive in that   .

I love the snow:cool1: :cool1: :cool1: I can say that I live in Fl and it is 80 today...

As for the walls make sure you bring someone in to look at them. Take that from someone who had $122,000.00 Damage from a Hurricane:scared1: :scared1:

Make sure they dont need to rip out the walls...And put new ones in...Mine looked alot like that.

Terri

Do you think just one of us Nanas could win the Lotto and get the whole boat just for us????:lmao: :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Greg and Janel, Did you sleep last night? :rolleyes1 Seriously, how's everything drying?

Hi Dawn,

I've been sleeping like a baby. (thanks to a little pill called Valium!) :lmao: My wife and kids can sleep through a hurricane. I don't know how they do it?

The house is drying out, slowly but surly! We went and looked at new carpet and linoleum today. We have a cabinet worker coming tomorrow to show us new designs for cabinets in the bathroom. The old ones are to far gone!

Seems strange, we built our home brand new 13 years ago and it still seems new to us, but here we are looking at new items to go in it, again?!

We just had the hardwood floors refinished this past summer, so with new carpet I guess it will be just like new again! :cool1:

Now I just need new stainless steel appliances in the kitchen! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Later,

Greg

Hi Terri,

Thanks for the advise. :thumbsup2 The clean up company that my insurance sent out seems to be doing a really good job.... almost to good?

I guess we'll see how it all comes together?

Greg

Greg, those were great pictures. Its hard to believe water can do all that damage:confused3

The boys in the bath is really cute. He looks to innocent to have caused al that trouble:angel:

well I am as ready as I will ever be for the moving sale tomorrow. I hope whats left for the 2nd day all fits into one room. It was a real challenge to leave enough room for people to walk through the rooms.

I am off to soak the tootsies:rolleyes1

have a great evening everyone,

Kathy

Hello everyone
Wow Greg, the snow is beautiful, but I know looks aren't everything! Your poor house! I never saw anything like that before. I never thought about paint peeling off walls. Hope the recovery is a speedy one for you!

Kathy, glad that you're finished getting your sale items together. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Mina - You're welcome! My pleasure. I hope the girls enjoyed their little treat. I hope Emily was able to blow a bubble!
You all are in our thoughts. Tell the girls hello for us! How is Elizabeth's wrist?

Well, my little g'son rolled from his back to his belly today! That's about all the excitement around here.
Our weather is great, sorry snowbunnies. It was in the 70's. We had a little rain and it was overcast at times, but all in all, great day.

Let me see, another evening LOST I guess! Have a good one everyone!
