Hi everyone.
The next time I say that I am going to do ANYTHING handy around the house beyond changing a light bulb please remind me of this moment. We actually have a guy who is a handyman (older guy really nice) who does a few things for us here and there because I really really really can't do anything besides change said lightbulb and hang pictures.

So a few months ago, this guy did some work for us and we had him reseal our standup shower with glass surround. He did an awful job. It really was a mess. So I decided..."how hard could it be?" and decided to redo it today. Well I'm guessing it's not a hard job - but for me - it is. It is less of a mess than it was but it took me nearly all afternoon and I'm guessing it shouldn't have. So please in the interest of all things Nana, stop me next time.

Tonight is the next to last soccer practice - HOORAY -- it's an ugly day here. Rained most of the morning and is cloudy and cool now. Yay. Can't wait to stand outside for 90 minutes and watch lizzie's coach get way too serious about 4th grade soccer.

Wyatt is sick..high fever. We took him to the doctor this morning and he has a very red throat with ulcers..Yuck! He can only eat soft food for awhile. he says he hurts and then just cries...kills me, b/c I can't make him feel better.


Wyatt will be two tomorrow!!!

Tonight my parents are coming to visit to have supper, and staying the night. They live 3 hours away, in case your wondering.

Today is my little brothers birthday. He lives with us, he's 34 today. Recently divorced...Know any nice single girls his age? He's building a new house.

This weekend, we are having Wyatt a huge Birthday Party, so we will be out of pocket on Sat.

I keep thinking it's Friday today. And i have to work tomorrow...

A former boss and still very dear friend of mine is proud of his inability and disinterest in fixing anything. He proudly states that he has 1 tool ... a hammer. "If you can't fix it with a hammer, you don't need it."Anything broken? Hit it. Pipes? Hit them. Stuck out on Lake Erie in friends boat because engine won't start? Hit it (true story ... it worked! ).

My head is stuffed, my throat is killing me and I have a fever I just got the d*** flu shot on Saturday and thought maybe I had a flu shot cold but nope it's the full on crud

I've got a sick kid running a fever too.
