Good morning everyone!

I'm off today but that's because I work Tues-Fri (10 hour days.) But the City of Virginia Beach is open for business! Hubby's employer, the City of Norfolk is also open. Surprisingly he seems to have a case of golfer flu this morning so he won't be going to work. Even our DD has school today. Public schools are closed but the Catholic schools are open. One more day to indoctrinate them I guess. So it's business as usual in our household today. At least the traffic should be light this morning.

Morning Nanas!

Well, I am off work today, but only because I took a day of vacation to try and recover a little bit from the trip. And, considering that I woke up at 1:30 this morning (because I took a stupid nap on the airplane yesterday), I am going to need the recovery time.

I have downloaded all the pictures from my camera and will try and post some later today. I need to sort them and see which ones are best posted.

Okay, here are a couple of pictures to give you an idea of where we were staying. As I upload more, I will post a few.

The first picture is Lisa and a friend from church who went with us in front of our apartment building. The building is about 40-50 years old!

The second picture is just a shot down the street where our building was located (Lenin Street). The haze is due to exhaust from all the vehicles during the morning rush hour.

I just love Gettysburg. I will really miss it once we get moved to Florida. Not I'm sure I can find some good places there. The Civil War is a favorite topic for me and Max seems really into it. I'm going to try to find some books for us to read together.

I did get scared once. I swear I heard walking and some type of face or something watching. Also you know how you get that feeling someone is watching? It was real bad there. hehehe

If anyone is interested in seeing a few pics let me know I will email mail a few to you. Very interesting. Even Rick cant tell me what it is and I may have his mind changes a little.

Bad morning got on the scale... gained 3 pounds on my short little trip to the Poconos with Chelsea You don't think it was the butterfinger blizzard, fudge, chips, philly hot pretzels with chocolate sauce ( don't go ewwwww until you try it!) eating out all 3 meals do you???.....no must have been something else

You know Marie we live in SE PA and I have to say I haven't been to Gettysburg since they MADE me go in school...sounds more interesting to me now reading your posts...may have to give it a thought and a try
