chomp chomp chomp.... just payback for last year----at least we wont have to be all concerned Saturday the 29th.... I think thats the last regular game of college, isn't it?
I still have about 15 quarts of sauce that we canned from the tomatoes & peppers out of the garden this year. We have a lot of pasta dishes, chicken parm eggplant parm veal parm brachiolle pasta fajiole (sp?) to eat this winter.
I feel your pain. We were watching scores while watching Penn State stomp Wisconsin. As a Pitt fan, you have to understand the pain it causes when Penn State is good. They have the world's most obnoxious alumni. And most of them were Farming majors or some such thing. Back in the day, when Pitt and PSU (or UPS or State Pen as we like to call em) played every year... the most popular sign at Pitt stadium was Culture vs. Agriculture.
We had such a nice time last night. I took Mina shopping as part of her birthday present and she bought a gang of stuff at Ann Taylor Loft including her Palo dress! Then we went to dinner and sat outside on a beautiful patio. Got home at 10:30 or so and the kids were still awake! But that was okay. Haven't been apart much lately so we all missed one another. Girls are off to church and I'm getting some stuff done before we head to the pumpkin patch this afternoon.
This is the weekend we were supposed to be in NYC before ELizabeth changed her mind about it being her birthday present. Wishing I was waking up on Central Park South today...if the weather is anything like today it has to be a spectacular day in New York.
Wow, is it getting nice here... I tossed open all the windows and actually turned on a couple ceiling fans....yikes! Snow is not an option! I think I'll take the Dues on a long hike in the woods and show him all the fall colors---maybe even a deer or two!
btw... the wife loves the whole wheat pasta. I'm kinda old school. I like the frozen cavatelli or gnocci. I dont know if we've tried the Barilla stuff or not. I saw it in the grocery so I'll have to give it a shot. So whats everyone elses take on it? It seems to be what everyone is talking about this morning! I love group discussions!
well we didnt get any of Gregs snow but we are 32 for our lows and 45 for the high. Thank goodness it is dry or we would have snow too.
The sun is shinning and it looks great but its still in the 30's today.
Good thing I bought some long johns yesterday to wer so I can walk the girls without freezing my behind
I made spaghetti a couple weeks ago, so maybe a good hearty stew at our house with biscuits for dinner.
I love using the slow cooker. Dinner is easy, very little clean up and it helps to heat the area nicely on a cold day.
Greg is working again today, at the home show. By the time he will
have a day off it will be 12 days in a row for work
Joanna, Tom and I have only cruised once together. One time we talked about dates and we came close a few times, but didnt meet until 06 cruise.
Guess what today is at the Brockelsby house...taste tasting thats right nanas we are going to taste test cocktails to see what we want to bring onboard with us
OMG I guess I have been on the baseball field to much I did not even know we were close to a new thread
