Just stopping by to say good night. Trying to keep up on the posts!

Welcome new family to our bunch!

Just finished getting all my forms together from the cruiseline site....I need to print them off at work.....
We did a recovery on this lovely computer of ours and lost the printer....for now...I'll restall this weekend..... I have to since I need to print off my door signs.....

We have to print forms out? Last cruise I printed forms and they never asked me for them...

Wake up!!!!!

Where is everyone? It's been a long couple of days with some new business opportunity. Got asked to write a brochure tonight for my favorite design firm, so that's cool. Any project work I get beyond my clients is really like found money and I try to treat it that way. Thus, our vacations. :cool1:

No, We haven't done any yet either. I am still trying to think of good gifts, or what you would think of as good gifts.

I have read the info on the Cruisemate list, but I was still wondering do you give a gift for everyone in that cabin, or just one gift per person? Do you out your name on it? Leave special things for the kids in the cabin?

In September, I hand made fe gifts - one per cabin - I mean there were 134 cabins on the list for heavens sake. They were bookmarks, made with my cricut, then 4 photos in them and backing then laminated. It took HOURS to make them and a couple hours for the two of us to deliver them. I might do the same thing again, but then, maybe not.

We received a huge sandpail full of gifts. I spread them all out on the bed when we got back to the resort - there was about 2-3 cups full of wrapped candies, 2-3 cups full of pirate stuff - fake coins, tattoos, eye patches, that sort of thing, probably a pop-up square tissue box full of hand made things like wine charms, key tags, luggage tags, magnets, bookmarks, and the rest was miscellaneous stuff, some of which we used (a baggie containing a bandaid, a safety pin, zip ties, q tip, & I forget what else) and some of which we didn't recognize (a little wooden thing shaped like a darning egg on a handle, but sized for a doll?) There were postcards from home towns, and oh a really nice brochure and souvenir from the national archives, which I saved because we'll go there some day, even some lovely origami flowers, and a little baggie of mickey punchies.

REally, we were happy with everything we got, because it's about the excitement of a surprise, rather than the worth of the object. Although some of the things were extra special and have found a place in my scrapbook. It was sorta like Christmas USED to be, when we were kids. . . you know - back when you received surprises, rather than providing them for everybody else!

Yeah, you have to print out the signature pages at the end of the contract. I usually print out the other pages too but that's just because I am neurotic.

I thought they didn't take anything from me last time, I guess I am wrong

:jumping1: how can you tell this is my first???? what gave it away?? :jumping1:

As you can tell, I am very excited. Since I'm the youngest of 3, my two sisters are already there....my oldest sister...whom I actually cruised with on the 06 cruise has 8 grandchildren from 17yrs to 18mo. Then my middle sister has 3. Twins (boy & girl) 18mo and 4yr old grandson. Both her daughters live out of state...kentucky and arizona.
My daughter lives in colorado....so this should make for interesting travels and lots of them.....hmmmmm now if I can just talk my son and his girlfriend into moving things along a tad bit faster!!!:rotfl: :rotfl: at least he lives only 10 minutes from me...!!!!

But I am sooo looking forward to this....I cant wait to spoil that baby....and brainwash it about Disney so mom has to take a disney trip and grandma has to come along just because......(alto I know I have to wait a few years for that)

So looking for another boy? to make the count even? How fun....

Well going to start to get ready for bed now....

later all
have a good evening

goodnite:banana:

Yes, I remember printing out forms last time....but for some reason they were not correct and I had to fill things out in the terminal:confused3 It wasnt that bad I think it took something like 5 minutes or so.....someone was there to help and tell you what needed to be filled out. But I'm trying to be more prepared this time.....we will see what happens:confused3

I just cant believe how close we are........all of a sudden time really passed fast......before we know it all the documents will be coming in the mail!!!:)

oh well good nite again

Hi Joanna & Denise - anyone else with their light on?

Just checking in before bed.

Denise - All the rain you had yesterday was in Cleveland today.

I don't remember having to print forms  Something else to add to the list!

Good night everyone!

Gailyn

Good night, Nanas. I'm heading to bed, too. It took 2 hours to get DD through her Algebra tonight. I'm whipped....
