Denise, is this your first grandbaby? They're soooo much fun!! I have 3 with a 4th due in March. So far I have 2 girls and 1 boy (3 yrs, 2 yrs, and 6 mos.)
Just finished getting all my forms together from the cruiseline site....I need to print them off at work.....
We did a recovery on this lovely computer of ours and lost the printer....for now...I'll restall this weekend..... I have to since I need to print off my door signs.....
No, We haven't done any yet either. I am still trying to think of good gifts, or what you would think of as good gifts.
I have read the info on the Cruisemate list, but I was still wondering do you give a gift for everyone in that cabin, or just one gift per person? Do you out your name on it? Leave special things for the kids in the cabin?
We have to print forms out? Last cruise I printed forms and they never asked me for them...
In September, I hand made fe gifts - one per cabin - I mean there were 134 cabins on the list for heavens sake. They were bookmarks, made with my cricut, then 4 photos in them and backing then laminated. It took HOURS to make them and a couple hours for the two of us to deliver them. I might do the same thing again, but then, maybe not.
We received a huge sandpail full of gifts. I spread them all out on the bed when we got back to the resort - there was about 2-3 cups full of wrapped candies, 2-3 cups full of pirate stuff - fake coins, tattoos, eye patches, that sort of thing, probably a pop-up square tissue box full of hand made things like wine charms, key tags, luggage tags, magnets, bookmarks, and the rest was miscellaneous stuff, some of which we used (a baggie containing a bandaid, a safety pin, zip ties, q tip, & I forget what else) and some of which we didn't recognize (a little wooden thing shaped like a darning egg on a handle, but sized for a doll?) There were postcards from home towns, and oh a really nice brochure and souvenir from the national archives, which I saved because we'll go there some day, even some lovely origami flowers, and a little baggie of mickey punchies.
REally, we were happy with everything we got, because it's about the excitement of a surprise, rather than the worth of the object. Although some of the things were extra special and have found a place in my scrapbook. It was sorta like Christmas USED to be, when we were kids. . . you know - back when you received surprises, rather than providing them for everybody else!
Yeah, you have to print out the signature pages at the end of the contract. I usually print out the other pages too but that's just because I am neurotic.
