Hey for anyone who was reading the rather depressing trip report from the first cruise after drydock, check out the current LIVE trip report from the 7 day DD happening right now. If you were feeling sad about the ship's condition, this will cheer you up. Seems like an isolated incident and I guess the reason you NEVER want to cruise the first sailing after drydock.

Started reading it but then stopped because I know better than to cruise right after dry dock. There is no reason for the green pool though.

yes we got a great deal. we were able to upgrade to a nice verandah from our inside room and still saved close to $1,000

I am addicted to buying luggage. I just can't help it. Just go on HSN.com and look for Joy Mangano luggage. This is what I got:

Oh, has anyone starting packing yet? DH went through and got out the shorts and T-shirts that he wants to take. I'm going to try to do some of that today. We're not actually putting them in the suitcases yet but putting stuff in a big tote, then we'll transfer it all to the suitcases when the date gets closer!

I don't have anything in luggages yet but I do have several piles started and I have also started putting my dress together in my closet. I might actually do a pactice pack this weekend to see if my new luggage will work

She is 43.....I'm 44.....confused yet??? She is my DH oldest sister's daughter....my DH sister is old enough to be his mother.....DH actually has a nephew that is only 1 year younger than him....got it ..

I was soooo excited too. This cruise is on a shoe string budget and we were really hoping for a great deal Now I can feel good about going.

well given their height they could probably sleep on the table where it folds down. The grandkids fit there ok, so Christine and Joey would probably be a good fit too.

Greg said if it was just him, he would throw a couple things in a plastic bag and go for it No need to unpack either, just grab out what you need and throw the dirty things back in it.

Believe it or not I do get it...I had a cousin who had a nephew who was older than her

My mom had a lot of cousins whose kids were older than her.

Also, our accountant has a niece and granddaughter the same age. Guess it's not really that uncommon...
