Good Morning.

Is anyone wearing pirate costumes? What have you come up with? Rick bought a real expensive shirt at the Halloween store but he has no pants. I told him that is a MUST for pirate night.:goodvibes

I just have a real puffy skirt and white off the shoulder shirt that took forever to find.

The boys have the Jack Sparrow costumes from the Disney store when it went out of business.:thumbsup2

You weren't offending! Actually the food is a little bland in my opinion. I'm just jazzed that we got the "inside" scoop on how to handle it. With all the cultural diversities of the chefs on board,... we just want to let them fly free and do what they love without restriction. I do it with drinks all the time. I'll give the bartender an ingredient like Baileys or curacao and tell them to make what they would like. Honestly, I haven't gotten a bad drink out of it. Makes life fun. Offend us....phhhhhtttt. Its not that easy--

daaaaaa Mutt

Thanks!! I was really worried that I might have stepped on toes concerning the food. I really like cruise ship food...I hope we enjoy the food on DCL also. We have sailed on Carnival, RCCL and Celebrity so far and I think RCCL wins for best food. Maybe DCL can give them a run.:goodvibes

We will be at WDW the night before we sail, so I am hoping to buy us something while we are there to wear for pirate night. At least a shirt of some sort. Have any ideas? I want to but DS a pirate outfit, but I know when we were there in March, they were $60...kinda expensive for one night, b/c he'll outgrow it soon.

What's Rick shirt like?

Marie, some people go all out with full costumes and some people just have something pirate on. We just wear pirate shirts and Mickey pirate ears. It is fun to go all out though with families because the pictures come out great.

Hey Nanas!! I know that there is a thread somewhere here on these boards about things not to forget when cruising but I can't seem to find it. I'm going to lunch today with my sister who is cruising the Eastern in just 3 short days!!! I'm so excited for her. We're going to lunch tomorrow and I have a little gift bag of goodies for her and her DH. Hey, do you happen to have any ideas of things I might could put in her gift bag? Things that she might have otherwise have said, "oops I forgot to pack that". I was thinking of Ziploc bags (heard alot of people say these came in handy), etc. They don't drink alcohol so anything along those lines are out. Any suggestions would be helpful. Have a great day and I'll check back in before I leave. Gotta go shower and get ready now. Yeah....I get these irritating stitches out today!!
