Hello...I'm here!! We are sitting at home tonight listening to the local high school football team on the radio. We have season tickets, but we just didn't want to go out tonight. I am tired. DS has not slept well all week.

Past Cruisers- Since you all have sailed this exact week before, can you tell me? Are there a lot of kids on board this particular week? It's not a school holiday, right? I am asking b/c I read on another thread, that IF Flounders Reef is not full, that once on board that they WILL let you leave your child a few more hours if there's availablity on your sailing? So, on this cruise, wouldn't the kids be less. We have sailed on other ships during the school year, and it was hardly any kids on those. But, they some were 10 day and I know that's different to miss 10 days of class.

But Flounders Reef may not be affected by the low kid ratio anyway, since they are not school age anyway...Just wondering?

Any chance you'll have a Nana cruise on another itinerary? Like mexico or if they offer Alaska ever? We hope so much that Disney does do Alaska in 2010..

You will LOVE the Christmas party. It's our favorite "special event" and we have been to the Halloween and P&P parties too. In fact, we actually went twice in one week to the Christmas party one year because we loved it so much the first night, when we went into the park on our last day of the trip, there was a sign that said tix were still available for that night...so we looked at each other and said "Let's do it!" And we had just as much fun the second time around.

This past March we did the P&P party and we liked it too. So, I knew we would like the Christmas one too. I love that the crowds are low. You can ride lots of stuff with no wait. Great!!! And I bet the parade is awesome.

I guess I'd better have a dining plan for our pre-cruise days and post cruise days. The restaurants may be full and we might not be able to get in if I don't.

By plan, I mean a few ressies at our favorite places.

What are your favorite places to eat while at the world?

Hi Steph
Hi Mina

Mina, my oldest DD has been campfire leader for 13 years now. She loves it and does campouts all the time. Her oldest DD is 17 and will soon be the campfire equivilent of an Eagle Scout, cant think of what they call her.

Steph, there are always alot of kids on DCL cruises. I think during the school year it may be more younger ones who arnt in school yet.
Sometimes it seems that way.

But that wont make much difference for the nursery.
even when they book up, people cancel or forget to show and after a few minutes the spot is open.

most who want extra hours seem to get them. You just have to be dedicated to checking all the time for openings.

Where'd you get the Nana head name from ?

Hey I got a top again tonight:thumbsup2

nanhead?

OK back on 06 several of us were posting on a thread for an eastern cruise. One person we all know as Mutt decided to be a trouble maker and he posted all kinds of dancing bananas.:confused3
soon he had us mezmerized and we soon starting posting thousands of:banana: on our thread.:goodvibes
It became an obsession with us. day and night, night and day Mutt was relentless on us to post bananas.
We obeyed our leader.:thumbsup2
Soon we were all hooked and changed out name from Turkey leftovers to bananaheads.
Its all MUTTS fault:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

We had become a cult.
Now as in many cults our fearless leader has betrayed his loyal followers:sad2: He now posts, oh I can barely bring myself to say it, but he now posts MONKEYS.
The shame of it all:sad1:

Thats the story of the bananaheads:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Bet your sorry you asked now arnt ya:lmao:

Hi Kathy!

Hi Steph!

I seem to be missing when you are posting. Had to clean-up a bit before Jeff and DD come home from the high school football game.

Anyone still here?
