Greg - we always rent a car too. I hate being on a schedule. I like to come and go as I please.

Coming from a different perspective--I love NOT driving around. It is much more relaxing for me to let someone deal with the traffic and know where they are going--I'm not in any hurry.

You know, I just really like having the smallest most powerful camera I can find (that's inexpensive too) so I don't have to lug a bunch of stuff around. This size fits in pockets, small purse, etc. so that's what I like to have. But the one you bought looks pretty nice.
