Duh!!! Dwight Shrute of Shrute's Beet Farm!!!! I even have a shirt from their establishment!:thumbsup2

Double duh!! Brazilian Power Crystals for the first lucky callers! (I'm not sure what they actually do, but they sound quite impressive don't they!:lmao: )

BTW -- Dwight is from The Office!

Okay, so I would have to actually watch that TV show to know who Dwight is? I'll pass.:sad2:

Two questions. One I think I asked but dont remember.

Do the plastic pouches in the about pic come with the lanyard or should I look for some?

Marie, I asked this question too the 1st time because I couldn't find the answer anywhere. They sell DCL lanyards either 1) by where you check the kids into the clubs in port or 2) at the customer relations desk. They do have the plastic holder attached.

2. I would love to know how the Nana group got togather. How did you all find each other and start the Nan family?

I'll either Kathy, Mutt or someone else answer this one.

1. Yes they do. No need to buy them

2. I meet everyone on these boards last year.

Marie:

Can't answer #1, but as far as #2 it all started right here. We ended up with a huge group at the meet in 2006 (as seen in the pic Shell posted), but there are probably about a dozen or so of us from the first cruise who still stay in touch. And, with each cruise, that number adjusts to some degree. It takes effort, that is true, but the friendships that have been developed are well worth it. For me, it is really cool to be able to name off that I have friends in Canada and a dozen or more states.

You will quickly find that the majority of these people are very likeable and fun loving.:thumbsup2

IMPORTANT T-SHIRT ORDERING INFORMATION - PLEASE READ!

After some concerns and a few discussions (see Bob? Bill and I actually do talk once in a while :rotfl2:) Mutt and I started looking at CafePress to do our t-shirts again this year.

The reason we didn't use them to begin with was that we wanted the blue shirts, but since the intricate design forced us to get white, it just makes more sense to use CafePress because then everyone can order their own shirts on their own timeframe.

The prices are competitive (less in the case of youths shirts, tanks and men's sleeveless) with the quotes I was given from the other company.

This will relieve Mutt and I of any financial obligation in putting out $1,000 for t-shirts plus sorting and shipping to each of you. I hope you all understand our concerns and are onboard with ordering your own shirts.

Christine, do the lanyards this year still have the zip-top?

I sure liked that last year except when I needed to get at my KTTW card and only had one hand (:drinking1 ) available. The opening needed to be about 1/2 inch bigger...

I'm just glad the KTTW cards aren't affected by water -- I wore mine everywhere!!! Hot tub, ocean, etc.

Just ordered the t-shirts..........:thumbsup2

This is getting really exciting now........

You just made my day!

The tank is "sporty AND sexy"!!!:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Much like the Nanas!!!

Woo - Thanks for the updated shirt information. Self ordering seems just as convenient for us and so much easier for you and Mutt. Thanks for setting us up and doing the research!:worship:

I have to get busy and read the past few pages. Do we need to order Lanyards too?? I missed the beginning of that.

Well today at work is fun - watching the Bank stock plumett because of the market craziness. Not a great time to work in the financial industry! I'm just glad my employer isn't Lehman Brothers! I feel for those people who worked there and lost their jobs!

Have a good day everyone!:)

Hi Gailyn :wave2: I'll go out in the parking lot in 5 minutes and wave to you, k? :rotfl2:

I really hope this wasn't because of me and my families indecisiveness! As one of the newbie Nana's I would like to thank all that had a hand in the designing of the t-shirts and fixing it so that everyone that wants one can order them! Kuddos to you guys!! :thumbsup2
