Thanks everyone for all the pixie dust for DH. He got a call this morning regarding the interview he went to last week with a "thank you" for your interest, but we've hired someone :sad2: He was a little down about it, but I tried to help but to no avail really.

But I do think your pixie dust is working...he also applied for a grounds position and one of the gentleman sitting in on the 1st interview (there were 4 all together in on the 1st interview :scared1: ) called him right before lunch and wants him to come in and talk about this other position!! :yay: So come on Nana's...keeping that pixie dust going and going and going...

A cardiologist died and was given an elaborate funeral. A huge
heart covered in flowers stood behind the casket during the service.
Following the eulogy, the heart opened, and the casket rolled inside.
The heart then closed, sealing the doctor in the beautiful heart forever.

At that point, one of the mourners burst into laughter. When all eyes
stared at him, he said, 'I'm sorry, I was just thinking of my own
funeral ........I'm a gynecologist.'

The proctologist fainted

I'm back. I was just trying to think :headache: if I had ever posted any of our pictures from our Carnival cruise this past July 4th and I don't think that I did so I'm going to post a few. I really didn't take all that many. Don't know why but I just didn't. Not like our DCL cruise last November on the Wonder though. I took a ton!! Anyway, here are a few...

DH, DD and me sitting in the terminal at PC waiting to board the ship...

Beautiful pictures! Did you enjoy the cruise (even if it wasn't DCL)?

Bob - you're my packing idol! :worship: :worship: It takes me days to pack and repack and repack before I settle on what to bring !!!

I always pack too much and too many shoes. I aspire to do a better job this time. Especially because we have to limit the number of bags to one per person and one of our bags has to be for alcohol!!!;)

TTYL,
Gailyn

Gailyn, this year I swear I'm bringing like 2 pairs of shorts, 3 shirts, a bathing suit and a dress. That's it. I ALWAYS go home with stuff I didn't wear! (OK, that list is a little too short now that I think of it :rolleyes1 )

:lmao: Gailyn, it comes from traveling so much throughout my career. For me, I literally pack in about 10 minutes for a week long trip. Maybe I don't think enough about it, but one thing I have always done is buy clothes in such a way that most everything goes with everything else.

We brought WAY too many clean clothes back last time as well! Will definitely cut down on this trip!:thumbsup2

Evening all:

Yeah Shell.....that list would be a little to short for me to......I need at least 2 outfits per day.......but this time, I am going to try and cut it down a little, the 06 cruise was my lets see how many outfits I'm really going to use....plus this time we have 2 more stops......Oh well, going to have to take my ocd tendencies and see what happens:rotfl: :rotfl:

Well it looks like its trying to rain again tonite. We really need the rain.....

Well I did pay off the cruise today:cheer2: :dance3:  so I'm excited about it......now I can relax and get ready to start booking.....

Nothing else going on

Denise, I figured out last year that with the 2 sea days and both stops in St. Maarten and St. Thomas (as well as Castaway), I wore my bathing suit almost all the time. That's what I'm going to plan on for this time as well -- bathing suits and cover ups for the days, then "real" clothes for the nights.

So the first of many many many loaves of zucchini bread are in the oven right now. I have 6 loaves in from about 2/3 of ONE zucchini ... and I have 4 more sitting on the counter! Good thing we bought a freezer ...

Actually good idea, since this year we will be doing more "water" things....I really need to consider that and cut down on a couple of outfits.....

Ok who's going to take the top?

That would be ME!

Well since I'm waiting for my STOOPID 40 seconds, I'll tell you that our Linens N Things is going out of businesses and MAN did I get some good deals! Got brand new 450 thread count sheets for only $45, along with super nice towels and a new comforter set!
