Another Cruise question..

Serenity Bay..

Is it worth the Long Walk? We have never been to that side of the Island before. I am planning on the Cabana Massage this time..

Do they have that tram? Last time we went, it was not running.. Cindy says it was, but I do not remember...

How is the swimming on the adult side? Good Bar?--- Very Very Important.

There is a separate tram ot take you there, it stops right at the adult beach and the massage cabanas are just ot the right of the stop.

find a comfy place to relax and there are plenty of waiters to bring you all the drinks you want all day long.
some do swim there but we have discovered the bottom has a few rocks here and there where the family beach doesnt have any.

we love the Wilderness Lodge, very pretty lobby with a huge stone fireplace and rocking chairs with a spring that comes up right int he lobby and goes outside to become solver creek that eventually flows into the swimming pool and a geiser behind the pool area is neat. Love the boat to MK instead of crowded buses.

easy to go across to Chef Mickeys for a character meal too.
we hike or you could even bike the trail to th campground area and beach too. Petting zoo there and you can walk through the stables and see the horses that pull the vehicles down main street in the MK.

We it. There is a tram to take you there. We have never been to the bar because they will serve you right on the beach. We get off the ship as fast as we can and try to be the 1st ones there to get a hammock. It is very quiet and peaceful and the water it very calm. The food is amazing too. They have the best soft serve Cookie Dough Ice Cream eva!!!!!

Last year a bunch of us went all the way to the far end of the family beach (near the Heads-up Bar) and set up shop. Not too crowded, the kiddies can play in the water and the bar is close in case the servers aren't quick enough for us.

Unless Jess plans to spend the entire day in Scuttle's Cove, that's where we'll be....

That sounds VERY fun at Epcot with each country celebrating its own time. Add in the fact that we are staying at the BCV and I can't imagine that we would go anywhere else that day! sounds like an opportunity for a Grey Goose slushie to toast the new year with our Nanahead friends.

Serenity Bay is very big so it always looks pretty empty - except for the hammocks. Thank heavens I have a fast and agile friend to snag one for me, or I'd have to stand up the whole time, since I can't get up off the chairs without a crane,

Last time, we hung out in the little clump of trees behind the Conched out Bar at the Family beach - right near the bar, across from Cookies and the restrooms, yet out of the main stream of traffic, what's not to like?

I wish I was there today! It's grey and DELUGING here.

I think that is where we always end up too. I know we are close to a bar (is there more than one on the family beach side?)
