Morning Nanas!

I hope everyone has been having a wonderful weekend. Weather has been very nice here in Georgia, so we had a great day yesterday. Ended up going riding on the motorcycle for a few hours and having lunch at a BBQ joint down the road from us (a break from the diet for a treat).

But, I also weighed in yesterday morning and officially passed 100 pounds lost!:cool1: 102.2 to be exact! Only about 60 more to go. Don't know that I will make it before the cruise, but I should be pretty close to goal when we next see you all.:thumbsup2

WOW...What diet are you on? I have Blue cross insurance and when I signed on to their website last week, they endorse Jenny Craig, that impressed me, so I am going to join when I get back from vacation. So after Labor Day I will be joining. No crazy points to count and I heard their food is good unlike Nutri System. It should be easy since my DH needs to lose weight also.

Has anyone been on Jenny Craig?

Gosh, it's GREAT to be retired!;)

I'm so happy for you. That's such an achievement. What a great thing to do for your health and quality of life!!! I just started working on losing that last 20 lbs of baby weight (never mind that my youngest is 9 yrs old :rotfl: ) and it's so hard. So again, CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Gailyn:)

Shell - how's the zuchini bread coming along? Your house must smell amazing with all that bread baking :) . Our small garden has done nothing this year. The only thing that's thrived has been the cherry tomatos!

Well we have a 5th birthday party to go to today for my nephew so that will be fun. Lots of kids, grilling, corn hole and a kick ball or baseball game or two. The weather is beautiful, sunny and cool. I just hope it doesn't rain!!

We've been watching a lot of the Olympics. The kids are really enjoying it.

I'm off to catch up on my reading - I never stay on top of all of our pages!!:confused3

Have a great morning!:)

Gailyn

Congratulations Bob. That's amazing.
Hey all. Today is sailing day!!!!
Off to breakfast at the Rainforest
Then back to swim
Then the bus departs at 12:20

Hooray!!!!!!!!

Last night was weird. Apparently in California people line up for 2 hours in advance for fireworks. Then they close all of Fantasyland for more than an hour in prep for and during the fireworks. We joke that Pittsburgh people will come out for fireworks at a funeral. Apparently it's worse here.

Yeah, it gets really bad in DL. We have given up on getting a good spot for Firework there. Pirate night on the ship is just as bad. There were people holding spots on deck 10 three hours before the show started. I guess it's the same people who wait 4 hours for Fantasmic.

Hi    Rudi is at the :beach: beach with a friend and Brittani is out :drive: driving with her dad :scared1: So I guess I should get some :laundy: done:sad2: :sad2: Check in later:flower3:

:wish100 Congrats Bob Way to go :yay: :yay: :yay: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

we kept asking if there was an unadvertised parade because there were SO many people lined up. We just wanted to get the heck out of the park and it was a tough walk out...worse even than if there was a parade at WDW. Overall we had a good time but I really much prefer WDW over DL - though I've probably been to DL more times than WDW in my lifetime I think they just do a better job at WDW in crowd control, the Disney Magic is more infused in the cast members and there are just too many marauding teenagers in the parks in CA for my use. We really DID like the hotel and being so close to everything - had some good meals at downtown disney (naples) and got to hit the rainforest for breakfast which was fun. THe pool at the GCH was pretty amazing too. Great loungers.

We road Space Mt. last night - guess it's the first time I've ever done it here. It's such a different experience than at WDW. Not sure which one I like better but it might be the one here at DL.

Ok bus is picking us up in a little more than an hour! DCL here we come!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:cool1:

Ok, I just ordered the entire Twlight Series. I am hoping to finish them before the cruise so please don't tell me anything about them.

Christine ... did Joey spend all night talking like Mutt? :lmao:

Gailyn: Our garden is doing WONDERFULLY! I'll bet there's a couple hundred tomatoes just waiting to turn red (we'll can sauce and salsa with those), lots of peppers (but the jalepenos aren't hot this year at all; getting lots of banana peppers ironically!), and we are growing eggplant for the first time ever, and have 3 nice-sized ones coming in now with a bunch more flowers just waiting to start producing fruit.

As of right now, I have 14 loaves of zucchini bread made and plan to make another dozen this afternoon and tonight. Whew!
