How did you all get any shipboard credit? We didn't get any. Does it make a difference who you booked with? We booked through Disney. Is there a difference between Dreams Unlimited and Disney? I hate to sound dumb and uninformed, but I am

I rebooked on board to get my shipboard credit. If you book directly with Disney they usually don't give you anything. I used DU last month and they gave me shirboard credit but they are not the best to deal with. You can still transfer your res to a TA that will give you credit (if you haven't already paid in full). Just keep in mind any changes will have to go through the TA instead of Disney. Jeff has the name of a really good TA that is giving some credit. I am thinking of transfering my res over to her to get extra $$$ too. PM him your email and he will send you all the info.

Allot of us transferred our reservations over to a travel agent that Jeff found!

Her name is Carol and we ended up getting almost $300 extra in OBC for switching to her, but then we have two cabins!

I know it's costing us more because we are bringing the kids with us, but boy did Steve get sticker shock! AND...we can't back out on them now. They are too excited about the Mickey Boat! How can I tell a three year old no!
We don't even have the "expensive" cabins.

She booked our August Mexican Riviera cruise and I transferred this cruise (the bananahead 08) over to her and she has been very responsive and offers OBC too. Greetings to all!
It's a cool, cloudy day at the beach. Not a bad break, actually so long as the sunshine returns tomorrow! We walked to the boardwalk and shopped and had lunch and the girls are now having their nails down at a salon nearby. Hope to hit the pool a bit later if it's not too cool.

I'm on the balcony again just listening to the waves.

Josh (Okie's son: joelidol) called to say they were in Ocean City (Md). I guess they decided to head there instead of Bethany which is a bit north of there but I thought it was on the way. Maybe I got my signals crossed. Anyway, okie and josh - if you are out there...sorry we weren't able to connect.


Hope everyone is having a great July 5th. I'm trying to milk my birthday for another day or two!

Pat, you still have to watch for the discount and then call your TA and tell them. Sometimes you have to haggle with them because they hate to give it out because they dont get as much comission when you get the big discount.
Plus you will LOOSE room credits if you take the florida resident rates, but we never minded because we gladly gave up $200 to get $700.00 or more off the price.

when we booked theorugh Disney we used our Disney chase card so they gave us $25 room credit. But as I stated w ewillloose that by taking the discount if its offered, but it is always worth it.

I truely beleive there will be a discount for us about 6 to 8 weeks before the cruise and then it will be paid off, but they will refund it immediatley to you, especially if you use a credit card.

It is much cooler today, only 76 which is really a nice change.
