Yeah for me - it started to rain. A brief reprieve from yard work!

Shell, your dog is so cute. We miss our dog so much. In May we had to put our 14 yr old yellow lab to sleep. The house just isn't the same without the pitter patter of her feet and her always wagging tail.

I'm afraid to go out and look at airfare for November. It wasn't too bad if we left on Moday or on Friday. Any other days are $500ish.

I also have to call the Radisson for Friday night. I have to look on line to see if there are any special rates or codes.

Shell & Mutt thank you so much for the cruise mate list. That really helps me keep everyone's names straight! I think your cabin is right down the hall from us!

Bill: can ya fill me in on the original handshake? (actually I didnt know there was one) sorry you got stuck with the laundry today

Shell: I love the picture of you and duesey...at least you can pick him up.....my Jack weighed in at 113.5 lbs on thursday when I had him at the vet on thursday.....I could not even attempt that on him.... but he's still my baby....

Lorna: Glad the recital went well.

Well my daughter and I are going to do some running and then have lunch at the Garden of the Gods....I should be able to get some really beautiful pictures there. That's all that's on my agenda today.... I just cant get over how beautiful these mountains are. I mean you walk out her door and they are right there.....cant wait till I get home and able to post some pictures...

Oh boy, we know that feeling. We lasted a whole 3 weeks without a dog when we had to put our 16.5 year old Boston Terrier, Guido, to sleep in November. In fact, we had to let him go the Saturday before the cruise last year. When we pulled up to Castaway, I sat on our veranda and bawled my eyes out knowing we were going home to an empty house ...

... and then, THE DUES entered our lives ...

Hi everyone- We had more storms roll thorugh this morning, but did not loose power The neighbors tree fell though and damaged her fence. Had a nice day with the family today. Johns cousin moved to Finland and she and her family are here visiting. Now I am just doing the normal weekend Thats about all that is going on here today. Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

I have been quite busy...trying to remember that handshake. Geez its been years, how the heck am I suppose to remember Mutt. Hey I bet not only do you not remember the original handshake (How's that laundry going?)
But I bet you don't even remember me!

We had a yard sale today, remind me in 5 years when I say I want to have one, that it is not worth it. Yeah about $150 bucks, but I am so freakin' tired I am fighting to keep my eyes open and the world poker tour is on tonight on the travel channel, I love watching that.

We just got through with a bunch of storms. We were pulling out of the driveway and quarter size hail started raining down on the car. Woo was on the phone with her sister and gave her a complete lesson on summer hailstorm pottymouth etiquete. I'm scarred for life, I'm afraid. Where in the wide wide world of sports did she learn such language? Anyways... we made it back to the safety of the garage and waited it out.

I think its going to start raining tequila now.....enjoy the rest of Saturday kids... I'll try and limit my margarita intake so I dont end up texting each and every one of ya.....
