Kathy

I don't know if thats possible at this point?! :confused3

I got my hair cut before we came up here and when I got home my wife said "wow!...... your really going gray aren't you? ("Just for Men" is on my shopping list!) :sad2:

Well......I've got to take 6 kids out to the pool to swim. Wish me luck!! :rolleyes1

Whats all the hub bub about this top o the page thing?

Of course you wouldn't know about this:rolleyes1

Only the smartest, fastest most intelligent people manage to get to the top of the page before everyone else::yes::

Of course the men think they can get there more often than the women:lmao: Thats a laugh.

But being of the superior intelligence we will occassionally LET a man get there first. Like Greg or Jeff. We are merciful and very aware of their fragile egos:rotfl2:

Greg, since your all wet from the pool,

you can make a mud pie for dessert tonight from my DUST!!:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Bad Economy Blows Out Central Fla. City's 4th Of July Fireworks Display
Display Costs City Up To $70,000

POSTED: 3:32 pm EDT June 25, 2008
UPDATED: 11:28 pm EDT June 25, 2008

COCOA BEACH, Fla. -- Citing a downturn in the economy, Cocoa Beach officials on Wednesday announced that the city will not host a Fourth of July fireworks display this year.

Cocoa Beach city manager Charles Billias said the display, which costs up to $70,000, was too expensive.

"The barges that we've rented in the past -- we've been renting them from Jacksonville -- is anywhere from $28,000 to $30,000," Billias said.

Despite offers for monetary assistance from county and area businesses, city officials said the the price tag was too steep to host the event.

Last year's fireworks display in Cocoa Beach was among the largest in Central Florida, lasting a half-hour, officials said.

Billias said a decision on next year's display would have to be made soon because it takes about a year to plan the event.

Welcome back Wendy! Can't wait to hear about the trip!:thumbsup2

Good morning people,

Shell, that is sad about the fireworks. I have read a few places are cancelling this year. some due to cost, some because of fire danger due to an extra dry year.:worried:

Wendy,
good to have you home again. I am looking forward to the pictures when you get the chance.:goodvibes

Pretty quiet here this morning?

Going to head out tomorrow evening for the beach, for my birthday.
It is suppose to be in the 70's there which is a nice temp. Here is is going to be in the mid to upper 90's:faint:

Later,
Kathy
