we're flying from Pittsburgh into OC - believe it or not up until the recent price increase it was cheaper to fly into John Wayne than into LAX. And I despise LAX and will avoid it at all cost even if it does cost more than SNA>

Ok Jeff, why such disdain for LAX?

Did you get flagged for a full cavity search or something? :lmao: :lmao: :rotfl:

That would certainly explain his distaste for ***less chaps

actually i used to travel so much when I worked for a living :lmao: that i have a list of hated airports - all for different reasons. Philadelphia because I was once forced to sleep (or more accurately sit and watch a movie on my laptop) in the baggage claim area all night when I missed my connecting flight and there wasn't a hotel room closer than Cherry Hill), Dallas before the recent redo because it was a dump, Houston, Denver and Minneapolis because they all kept me trapped in a plane on the runway due to summer storms anywhere from 2-5 hours all on the same trip. And LA because security is a nightmare and often winds around the building, the people are as rude as anywhere in America and some of the terminals are dumps to the nth degree. Atlanta is also on the list due to a 7 hour storm delay I spent running back and forth from Delta to USAir trying to get SOMEONE to take me home. :rotfl: I can go on. The Phoenix dust storm that kept me trapped there and countless airports with nothing to do, nowhere to eat (but a hot dog vendor) and no wifi access.

Now that I don't travel except for a rare trip to Philly or Chicago I'm really getting spoiled!

Well, I hope everyone is having a wonderful evening. It has been a long day for me, and I am ready for some rest!

See you all in the morning!

Got it. I'll make the ressies tomorrow.

we talked about it tonight at dinner and we're all very excited. Emily asked if we were going on a cruise when we told her we'd see you and Bill ! :rotfl:

So we leave tomorrow for Austin's surprise birthday trip and I have to get everything ready and at my dads before he gets home from school, so that my parents can pick us up for dinner(otherwise known as the airport shuttle) with the luggage already hidden in the trunk. So if I don't get a chance to say bye, I'll check in later when able to
Love ya'll and try to behave without me:rotfl2:

Have a great time Wendy! Safe travels. Can't wait to hear all about it.

It is much quieter here tonight:confused3 I am sitting here waiting for Dh to call me back. He went to the visitation tonight for our friends son. Tomorrow is the funeral.

Tonight Madison got to go to the Rainforest Cafe with her school. She won a reading contest. There was 1 winner per class room. She had a great time. Jordyn and I got a pizza and spent some time together. That is about all I did today. Tomorrow DH comes home, so I am going to have to clean some of the house in the morning. Have a good night.:cloud9:

Don't get me started on the problems with flight! That's why I drive!

I'll just say goodnight. Tomorrow suppose to be another wonderful day!

Evening Nana's!!

I just sat through a 2.5 hour insurance seminar tonight!! :sad2: :scared:

I swear, that has got to be the most boring thing I've ever done! :headache:

Well I'm off to bed to sleep it off.

Good night.
