Oh man!....what a day!

I was able to survey the entire canal today via helicopter in about an hour! It would have taken me almost 4 in my truck and I wouldn't have seen nearly as much!!

I could get use to this if it didn't cost nearly $1200 per hour for the chopper!

Looks like the posts have really slowed down since I left this afternoon?!

Well get this....my co-worker that called in sick yesterday and left us short handed.....well she comes into with her hair all highlighted....then she's telling us how she went shopping yesterday so much for being sick....I was really ticked off when I saw her hair and then heard her shopping story.

Well folks, it is now absolutely official! (drumroll please)

I just made the first payment to register our domain and set up hosting for, wait for it....

www.nanaheads.com

Though you won't seen anything for a few days, we now officially own the domain name and have a sight set up for hosting.


If you have ideas for content and stuff, please let me know. I have a couple of people who have offered to help me set up the web site, but here are some of the ideas:

* There will be private areas which can only be accessed via a password. These would be used to store things like cruisemate lists and personal information that really should not be viewed by just anyone.

* There will (hopefully) be galleries for posting of pictures from previous cruises, and of personal happenings. We should be able to do this without having to upload them to Flickr or PhotoBucket.

* At this point in time, I don't want to pursue a forum, for the simple reason that I like what we have here, and it makes it easy for people to find us.

* Each person who wants one will be able to get a personal e-mail account that will be <your name>@nanaheads.com!

Once I get official confirmation from the hosting company, I will at least upload a shell front page so that the site shows something. I will let you know as soon as that occurs.
