We had a good time at the zoo. Elizabeth was excited before even going in. She heard a peacock and exclaimed "What's that?" Waving her arms excitedly at the same time.

Christian won his game tonight 11 - 5. The boys played well.

Lorna, I was worried about you. I thought you might have been caught up in the storm also. Glad you are all right!

Glad to hear Dues passed with flying colors!

Only two more days to the weekend, and then I get to work even more! Sorry, it has just been a rough couple of weeks at work. You know it is pretty bad when the VP of HR at your client comes up and says "You have had a rough week!", and I haven't spoken to her at all. But, we will persevere!

Evening everyone. It has been a long day, and I still have work to do here at home. I love the client I am at, but my problem child that was fired yesterday put us so far behind it isn't even funny. So, I have to figure out how to finish all this work prior to next Wednesday.

Lynn: So sorry to hear that your crew won't be joining us. It looks like I will be back up in White Plains somewhere around Sept. or Oct. We will have to get together even if it means me driving to your house![/QUOT

It looks like I'm the second to wish everyone Good Morning! But I think Bob needs some extra hugs this week!

They are coming to put in the pool liner today! Now summer can begin! It has been really weird not having the pool to spend a great deal of our time in. I imagine it will take a couple days to fill it--what does it hold 13,000 gallons!

Not much going on here. Had a little mini blizzard this morning....was snowing so hard traffic on the freeway slowed down to about 35 because of visibility.

I guess Island Park just 60 miles north of us got about 5 inches of new snow!! Suppose to be in the 80's this weekend!....only in Idaho and Wyoming can you go from snow one day to 80+ degrees the next!!

Dawn, good to hear the pool will soon be fixed. I'll bet the boy's will be especially happy.

Down to the low 40's again last night, but they are still saying around 70 later today. I hope they are right.

What a horrible time Iowa is having with the tornado that wiped out the Scouts camp. Such a terrible tragedy for the entire area.

Not much else happening around here today.
Guess I will check back later to see if anyone else is around today.

The boy scout camp is about 40-50 miles (?) north of here. It's very sad and kind of just adds to the pile of bad news lately... I heard about it in the midst of the storm and was praying that no one would be killed.

From the footage on the news it is amazing more wernt killed.
It totally flattened the entire camp. I do believe the first aid training the boys had saved lives of the other boys , because the boys got treatment a lot faster than they would have.

Yes because there were local news people up there during the storm and for the longest time the rescue people were not able to get in. Like an hour and a half I think!
