so besides the deposit what is the advantage of booking the 09 cruise now? Isn't it better to wait until we are onboard to book it from a pricing standpoint?

Actually, Jeff, I will book onboard this year, and then cancel the existing reservation. The primary reason for doing it now at the discounted deposit is that in 06 and this year, we are staying in one of the "secret" Cat 6. It is a room with a partially obstructed verandah (very minor obstruction), but because of that they sell it as a Navigator's verandah (Cat 7), so it saves some cash. "Our" room is 6634, but that was taken for next year, so we are on the other side of the ship in 6134.

Hi everyone I have not had time to catch up on all the posts. We had a bad storm roll through here on Sunday night. We lost power. We finally go that back, but still have no cable internet. I logged onto net zero this morning just so I could say hello It is so slow!! Can't stay on for long-we don't have very many minutes left. Hopefully we will have our cable back soon.
There is alot of damage around here. We are ok. No damage here. The kids had no school on Monday. The rest of the week is filled with end of the school year fun Not sure when I will be back on. I will try to check in later this week. Have a good one.

Hello everyone...my family had cruised with you in November 2006 (we still have our door magnet hanging on our refrigerator at home) and I came acrossed your thread so just stopped by to say hello!!! We're not cruising with DCL in the near future but we hope to. Right now we're planning to do the Disney World vacation. Enjoy your trip and maybe we'll cruise again with you in the future.

Good morning everyone,

It is cold and rainy again today. I am tired of the rain. Today was suppose to be clear , sunny and warm
Now they say tomorrow will be clear and warm. I hope so.

Nothing exciting going on here. I have been reading up on excursions a bit, but nothing strikes me as extra good. Guess we wil have to thnk it over a bit still.

Shell, how did your son do at day care yesterday? Will he be allowed back or was he naughty like his daddy and get kicked out
