well I finally got a few photos downloaded of the area we are living in so I thought I would share a few.
This is what I see when I step outside my RV. I love all the wooded hills around us.

This is the backside of a large truck stop with a couple of gas stations, couple of mom and pop restaurants, a hotel and mostof all to entertain the truckers there si a 24 hour Adult shop there.
The field you see is huge and our dogs can run and play there off their leashes for exercise.

Afternoon All:

Just checking in. I'm sitting at my desk watching it rain. Dawn, we were lucky and only had few storms here in the last couple days. Your grill cover and pool look like they have seen better days. I wish you a speedy recovery from it all. I was giggling last night as a line of storms came in to our area and the weather forecaster said you can always look at the radar on our webcite, but my thought was Yah, if you have internet that works with the power out. But what do I know.

Kim, Judy is was nice to hear from both of you. Please feel free to stop by more often.

Nothing much going on around here. Trey is on duty this up coming weekend and I have to clean house. (yuck) Cassidy (Trey's dd) will be here the next weekend after we go to Houston to get her, I would hate for her to think I never clean the house. We don't have much planned other than that.

I hope that those who had cramped thumbs this weekend from txting are getting over it. We had a good laugh.

We went to a Springfield Cardinals game last night and sat in the Redbird Roost. Its all you can eat seating. For those of you that have seen Trey eat, we easily paid for the tickets with the free food. Other than that we were really boring this weekend.

I actually have a semi-cruise related question. I was putting all of our photos that we purchased on cruises into frames this weekend as we are creating a Disney Photo wall in our basement/playroom. I bought a bunch of 5x7 frames without even thinking about it or looking at the photos. Of course the way disney frames the 5x7s, they are actually 6x8. Anyone have luck finding 6x8 frames anywhere? I haven't started to look yet but I don't remember ever seeing any such animal. Or do I just cut the photos apart to take out the "disney framing?"


What do you do with your 6x8s?

I'm sure DCL does this on purpose! Of course we didn't buy much from shutters, but I think the ones I did buy were 8x10s. I'm sure you can find them, but you probably have to look online... I'll ask Chris though...

WOW! I was just reviewing our flight information for November. I got both of us down there and back for $500. Today, the same flights would've cost us $947! Glad I didn't wait!

Heck, the way gas prices are going, it may cost us $500 to drive from Atlanta!

If Obama or McCain has a brain in his head, they'll be putting an aggressive plan together NOW to combat this immediately after getting into office. God knows we can't wait for Bush to figure it out.

Well, the problem is not Bush, it is the Democratic controlled Congress

who refuses to allow additional drilling in ANWR or the Gulf or Mexico. After all, they have been in control of Congress for four years now, and gas prices have been going up for 3 years. Hmmm...Enough reserves in ANWR alone to equal what OPEC has provided over the last 35 years!

Jeff, we have seen 8x10 frames that had mats to fit 6x8 photos. But, you typically have to go some place like Michael's Crafts. And considering they almost always have their frames on sale for 40-50% off, the prices are not too bad.

Jeff, I buy the 5 X 7 picture and with Disney's matting it fits the 8 X 10 frames that I put them in. I have a Disney wall in the computer room. I've run out of room. If I did it over again, I would buy the frameless frames (if you know what I mean) they have clips that hold the whole thing together. You can fit more pictures in the same amount of space. And after a few years, none of the frames all match.

Leave it to Bob and my wife to blame it all on the politicians.... Anyone here thinking of bowing out of the cruise in November? Gatlinburg? The hotels are full at Disney and the planes are full and still in the air. I don't see masses of people carpooling and there are Escalades still motoring down the highways. My point is that the people in control of the prices see this and say.... ok, they're STILL taking this pretty light heartedly. Bump it again. Politicians to blame? Yep. Greedy oil barons? Yep. The majority of us? 'fraid so. To blame it on one source? Nah.....

I hope that takes the conversation off me and Bob texting each other....
