11-29-08 Nana Heads 3: Tiara Bob & The Dreamboats Reunion Cruise CONT'D THREAD #11!

Good Morning everyone :) Woke up this morning to a nice covering of snow  I agree with Shell, we have to see about a warmer climate, more or less a climate with not as much extremes but with seasons.

Bobby careful driving home, safe trip.

Morning everyone!

Well....life is hard back here in Orlando.....woke up at 7:30 and took a dip in our private pool at our vacation home, then played Wii and Playstation 3 with Chayce for an hour!! :lmao:

We're having lunch at Cinderella's Royal table at 1:30pm then we're off to do "what ever" in the park till Mickey's Christmas Party. :woohoo:

Hope everyone is surviving the snow and cold.....we'll have our turn next week I'm sure. :sad2:

Have a great day!! :thumbsup2

Hi Nanas-We made it back last night about midnight:scared1: We are very tired this morning. We came home to below zero windchills and snow. Today the kids want to go sledding. It sounds like we are in for a snowy week. I want to go back to CC!!!

It was great to see everyone again and meet new friends:) Also a big Thank you for all of the fish extender gifts. I think I should have brought an extra carry on just for that! The kids were so excited to check it everytime we came to our room.

I still feel like I am on the boat rocking back and forth. I guess I need to get my land legs back.

Greg-Enjoy your week in Florida. My kids loved seeing Holly and Nicloe at dinner and around the ship. We have a picture of Holly with Mickey or Minnie. I will email it to you.

Jeff and Mina-It was nice spending time with you guys at CC. The girls had a lot of fun with Emily and Elizabeth. It was too bad we did not get to sit with all of the nanas for dinner. I know it would have been nice for all the kids to sit together.

Well now comes the fun part of unpacking and doing :laundy: I am also thinking of pulling out the Christmas decorations. I only got a few things out before we left. We also need to get our tree. The kids want to do that today.

Have fun Greg! The Christmas party is our favorite "special event" at the MK. It's truly magical.

Hey Lorna
We also had a great time hanging out on CC. Will email you any great photos we might have. I haven't reviewed them yet but I'm sure I have some.

Hi Nanas! What a great trip! So nice to meet everyone! The Nanas are awesome! We are driving into our driveway; Dad picked us up at the port and we took him to breakfast (finally some good coffee!)

I was great to meet you guys too! We drove by your church yesterday. We went over by NASA and saw a ton of alligators on the drive over. We did not go to the Florida Mall, but went to Down Town Disney, but it was packed. we did not stay too long. Then we went to the Disney Out let and to dinner. We also went to Cocoa Beach before we left and walked the pier. There was a guy there that was feeding a pelican, then he held it and let the kids touch it. They thought that was cool:cool1:

Maybe that will be on next years agenda, we have never seen or done that. :sad2:

Okay, I will post the first picture from the cruise. Here is the group picture taken at the Nana Heads Meet:

Okay, I realized I didn't like how small the last picture was, so here is a larger version:

Hi Lorna,

Glad you got to see some alligators. They love to sun themselves on days like these when it turns a little colder and the water is cold.

We were right near our church probably when you drove by, at a place called Causeway Diner; took Dad to breakfast there. Saw some folks from church who had been decorating for our Christmas Banquet which we were too tired to attend. Steve and I are both feeling under the weather; I have a lot of congestion still, and he is just really tired.

I did get all the suitcases unpacked, and the laundry sorted, but I don't have everything put away, and haven't started the washing yet. I'm a firm believer in, "Never do today what you can put off until tomorrow."

Talk to you guys later.

Good Morning Nanas    Got home 10 minutes early yesterday, landing at 2:15, to a wonderful Ohio welcome of 26 degrees and snowing:headache:. That was just the final proof for me that God is telling me that I shouldn't live here. So I think we are truly geared up to make a change ... somehow ...

Anyhoo, went and got The Dues, who had a WONDERFUL time at daycare! His report card was an A+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ (I'll post the comments later) and he had no timeouts!

As for me, well I tried some Benadryl for the first time in my life at the airport and promptly fell asleep before we even took off and slept thru about the first half of the flight. Got home, unpacked/did laundry, got dinner, and fell asleep again at 7:30, woke up at 10, back to bed at 10:30 and up this morning at 8:30! SHEESH! It's like I didn't sleep all week

Well I'm going to have some GOOD coffee this morning, so back later with pics and such ...

Hi Shell,

Wow, we had such a great time with you guys. Thank you for letting us pal around with you and Mutt. Please tell him that we said Hi.

Glad the doggy is fine. Our Samson seems really happy so Dad must have spent a lot of time with him. Plus, he loves this weather. Going to try to put him out on his lead in the front yard today; he likes it better than the backyard (I guess because the scenery actually changes.)

If you want to move to Florida, there are some great deals on houses right now...

Talk to you later.

The picture turned out great! Thank you Bob. Please say Hi to Lisa and give her a big hug (yeah, I know, twist your arm!)

I want to give a huge THANKS for all the wonderful FE gifts! The creativeness was just overwhelming! You all outdid youselves!!

P.S. Area 51 Ooze does not travel well. I'm just sayin' :headache: :rotfl2:

We saw the strangest thing at Palo's ...

Hey Brantley!!! A funny thing happened to Joey's wedding ring this time around! Unlike da Mutt, though, they found his ON the ship after we left! :lmao: . We did, however, give Bob & Lisa a re-enactment of that fateful day in St. Maarten last year :rotfl2:
