Good morning Nana's!!

I'm getting a little nervous because we haven't even started packing yet!

The kids are out of school tomorrow, so hopefully we can get it all done tomorrow and be ready to fly out Thursday morning.

Looks like it will be in the low 70's in Orlando when we arrive....just perfect for me!

I am TRYING to pack only 4 bags...but I know one is over the weight limit, but I don't really care at this point. We'll just pay the fee...I know it's crazy, but I have to have room in the limo.

You know it's like $80 for 1 lb over weight right? It's cheaper to bring an extra piece of luggage.

I ordered a portable luggage scale from Bed Bath and Beyond and it arrived yesterday just in the knick of time. I used to get on the bathroom scale with each bag and then subtract my weight to figure out if we were over the limit. Looking forward to using this scale this time.

hey Christine - I think I may actually go and pack my bag now. Mina and the girls have their stuff pulled out but not yet in the bags so perhaps it's my turn. My biggest concern (and I know you will be able to relate to this) SHOES. With wearing khakis to dinner most nights I need the burgandy/brown shoes but for formal night and the black suit (I opted against the tux this time) i need the black dress shoes. Truly the one thing I hate is to have to bring two pairs of non flip flop/crock/sneakers.

I love my portable luggage scale. It's the best thing.

Yeah, I had to pack a pair of brown and black shoes for Joey too.

Jeff - thanks for the info on Nachi Cocom, that's way more money that I want to spend. If Joey's uncle wants to go to the beach we will just go to Chankanaab or Playa Mia.

This is our 2nd Disney Cruise, first 7-day. It's snowing in Pittsburgh right now, so I cannot wait for a little sunshine!

Depends on the airline. When we went on the Mexican Riviera this summer, we flew United and it was $100 for overweight but $25 for an extra piece. That's why we had the collapsible one packed and we used it.

Ok Christine. The good news is that *I* am packed. But I'm going out to a basketball game tonight so the girls will likely do their packing tonight and tomorrow. My bag weighed in at 42.4. The bad news is it looks like we have to bring a small sixth bag (sorry Stephanie and Greg, I'll hold it on my lap) to get all the shoes from all four of us on this trip. I think even if I (horrors) wore black shoes with my khaki's we'd need to bring the shoe bag. Now if I wore the brown loafers with my black suit...
