Mina is at the neighborhood bunco game tonight. Just an excuse for the ladies to get together, gossip and have a few drinks. Sounds like a Disney Cruise.

So the girls went to sleep about an hour ago and I've just been hanging out, having a glass of wine and watching the season finale of Real Housewives of Atlanta. OMG the worst yet. These women HATE each other. My favorite is the wannabe country singer who can't carry a tune. And Christine, I saw Real Housewives of OC (the original and best) premiers next Tuesday. I also made dinner for tomorrow today - a Greek chicken in the crock pot. It smells amazing - lots of garlic and oregano. So my day of house husbanding is winding down. Back to work tomorrow - meetings and everything. Yikes.

Hello all....just checked hotwire and the 4 star in Orlando Airport went from the 3.5 tripadvisor to the 4.5....so others on the Disboards have said that the airport hotel is the only 4.5 on the trip advisor.....they were right! I paid $67.00 for the night plus $15.00 in fees....total of $82.00...my reservation with Hyatt with the AAA rate was $172.00.....so I saved myself $90.00 bucks....more money now to spend on the ship.....am I happy???You bet I am....see you all soon....I'll be the one with that stupid happy grin on my face.....Thanks Disbords!!!

Proud dad moment. Lizzie has the second fastest time among girls in her age group on her current team in both the 50 freestyle and 50 breaststroke. She is so excited and decided to join US Swimming today - a bit of a commitment and challenge. But so long as its her idea, I said she should go for it.

Gotta love those "proud parent" moments. That's exciting!!

Gotta love those "proud parent" moments. That's exciting!!

It really is and thanks to all of you for your congratulations. To see her face when she figures these things out it's just priceless. In the meet this weekend she finished 8th among about 30 swimmers in the 50 Free. She has really improved her time from last year at this time by 15 seconds or more. Though proud I try very hard to not be one of THOSE dads....and there are many of them even at this age. The things we saw this year in 10 and under girls' soccer just stunned me.
