Yep, actually I live in Green Valley Ranch, right down the block from Green Valley Ranch casino.
Oh...no, that's Hidden Valley Ranch...

Do you dress up for dinner every night - like in a fancy dress? If so, you probably need a pair for each one. Then shoes for your excursions. Maybe water shoes, and walking shoes. And flip flops for around the ship. Just the necessities, you know.
Wow. I've stayed at GVR resort. I used to work for the company that owns the Art Institute of Las Vegas and had to go there to train the PR Director (3 times in my time with the company). Stayed there twice and on the strip once - when I was also going to NAB (trade show).
I do have a dress for each night but I was able to get enough black ones together to only have to bring one pair of black shoes but now I am having second thoughts about maybe bringing one more pair of black shoes "just in case". I also have a really cute pair of pool shoes that have been sitting in a box for 2 years so I might bring those too. They don't match all my bathing suits but I am sure I can find time to wear them.
Yeah, it's really close my sister and I walk there all the time (OK we used to). I will probably be there this weekend with my parents. Did you go to the Art Institue on Green Valley Parkway?
G'night Steve. Glad you decided to join in.

I think so. It was just across the highway from the resort. I really liked the resort. The pool area was really great.
Thanks and GO STEELERS!![]()
When was the last time you were there? They added a whole VIP adult area by the pool called "The Pond". It's really nice. I worked in the marketing department for that corporation (Station Casinos) a few years ago. It was a fun company to work for especially because we were opening up Red Rock Station. Have you been there? I think it might be nicer than GVR. The rooms are much nicer and the pool is way cooler.
Oh it's been about 5 years. There was no VIP area then. And I remember reading or hearing about Red Rock Station but it hadn't been completed yet.
I think the last time I was in LV, I was at the Mirage. And it was disgusting. I just read where they renovated all the rooms- boy did they need it. Usually stayed at MGM for the trade shows I went to - only because they always had rooms even when I waited too long to reserve...
Yep, i was surrounded by 4 princesses (and some little twerp who wandered into my private photo op.)
Yeah, I guess when you have 5,000 rooms there's always something available. I worked for the Luxor, we had 3500 rooms and we actually did sell out most weekends.
Even though I don't gamble I think Vegas is cool because of the resorts. And of course the weather. Mina has never been there and I'd love to do a weekend there without the kids if we could get a babysitter that could deal with a weekend - we don't have that any longer. I've never stayed at the Bellagio but would love to do that. I'd also love to do a guys weekend there for the NCAA basketball tournament. Even though I dont like to gamble, I WOULD gamble that weekend, betting on hoops. Came close to doing that with some friends 2 years ago but it kind of fell apart.
