Morning Light is one of the movies playing on the ship. I hadn't heard of this movie so I looked it up...seeam kinda cool:

Fifteen young sailors... six months of intense training... one chance at the brass ring. This exciting True-Life documentary tells the inspiring story of a group of intrepid and determined young men and women, on the cusp of adulthood, as they embark on life’s first great adventure. Racing a high-performance 52-foot sloop in the TRANSPAC, the most revered of open-ocean sailing competitions, the crew of "Morning Light" matches wits and skills in a dramatic 2300 mile showdown against top professionals. From their earliest training sessions in Hawaii conducted by world-class teachers through their test of endurance on the high seas, they form an unbreakable bond in the process of becoming a singular team that is greater than the sum of its parts. Edited by one of the key filmmakers responsible for the acclaimed 2004 surfing documentary, "Riding Giants," written and directed by the team of filmmakers behind the recent rock documentary "Amazing Journey: The Story of the Who," and the critically acclaimed "Once in a Lifetime; The Extraordinary Story of the New York Cosmos," "Morning Light" will appeal to the sense of adventure in everyone.

Thanks Bob..

We are very happy gas prices are half of what we thought they were going to be...

Not flying saved us a ton of money...

The 19 hour car ride on the other hand will bring plenty of yelling and screaming, and I am sure some punishments..

Well, if you reach the Atlanta area and feel you need a break, or an additional threat, just tell the kids you are dropping them off with me and I will bring them to the port....maybe!:rotfl2:

What are you talking about Cheryl? They had air conditioning back then....you just had to roll down the windows. :lmao:

That was so long ago.... that we were just finishing up with the last "ice age"..... it wasn't really that hot back then!! :rotfl2:

Thanks Nana Heads for the fine welcome. We're looking forward to meeting the gang. May everyone have a safe journey to the cruise!

Mari and family

Well, Disney just added another level of service. They just called to confirm my REAS package reservation for Palo and to explain that rainforest passes came with my package. This is the 3rd time I've had the REAS package but no one has ever called me before. However, they did find out that I had two brunches booked and cancelled one:mad: Oh well, I still might try to get a second one when we board.
