We have a huge wind storm going on!!

It woke me up out of a sound sleep.

I woke up to a big "BANG" against the french doors in Janel and I's bedroom......I thought maybe the roof of our gazebo over the hottub had blown off.

It was still intact....thank goodness. One of the kids left the shovel next to the door and it fell over against our window and woke me up.

It sure is blowing hard though!

I hope my roof stays on.

So now I'm wide awake sitting here trying to keep Kathy at bay eating chocolate chips cookies and milk at 4am!

I'm sitting here in the living room next to the fireplace, which is out, and I can feel the draft coming down the chimney and its making me cold.

Maybe after I get the top I'll start the fire.

Got to keep my priorities straight.

I guess if nothing else.......I'm adding to the banana count.

My lights are flickering a little?.....I may loose power?!

I guess I'd better go check the batteries in the back up power unit to the house to make sure they're charged so I can keep my lights on.....just in case.

Yep, the batteries and generator are online and ready to go in case the power goes out. I just hope the cable companies batteries in their relay station down the road are charged or else my internet will still be down even though i won't be.
