Hi everyone

It's been a busy day...had the normal Saturday running around to do plus I have been on the phone all day!

The baby is doing well...she had a piece of her intestine removed yesterday...it took about 6 hours..she'll is hooked up to all kinds of machines and it will be a week or more before they can hold her...she is unable to cry because of the tube in the throat however she is expected to have a full recovery and should have no side effects.

My Pop is doing okay...he still doesn't have a date set for his surgery.

We booked flights today to take the girls to see Paityn in April for a week then we are going to spend two weeks with dad in Arizona. It works well as Kierra has almost 2 weeks of for Easter.

Glad to hear they are both doing better Jaime!!!!

Good Morning

Busy day planned...we are going visiting.

We are leaving around 2 a.m. Wednesday morning or Tuesday night however you want to look at it. We say Tuesday night!

Way to go nanaheads, lots of nanas for me to count later tonight

Just got home awhile ago.

I had a good visit with my mom. I need to do it all i can now. Her memeory is really getting bad and she gets confused a lot lately.. She failed a memory test at the doctors last week, so they are running tests on her to see if its Alzheimers or something else. Should have some results back on Wednesday.

She is almost 88 and still live son her own, so she has done really well until now.

The girls had a good sleep over and we saw lots of photos of them.
They are still sleeping from all the excitement.

Sheila woke up and rolled over and saw Minnie standing there with her feet on the edge of the bed with her ears up straight just starring at her about 2 a.m.

But all went well, so no worries for the cruise now.

When we go to DDs for Thanksgiving I will keep them with us until around 2 p.m. then take them to the sitter for the cruise. I feel good about the care they will get, yet i hate to leave them too.


Greg managed to tweek his back some at his moms, but not too bad this time, should be ok by the cruise.

Came back to a bad furnace, so calling the repair man in the morning and hopefully get it fixed before the cruise. we have to have heat on in here while we are gone.


Jaime, I am so happy the baby is going to be ok That really made my day

I am exhausted from stress with mom, so will sign off now. back later tonight to post more and to count the nanas.

I know we can make a million in a year with what we already have.

Just baked a loaf of Honey, whole wheat and oatmeal bread. Smells sooooo good. I usually try to bake one every Sunday. Do cleaning while it raises and bakes and then get the reward of eating fresh home baked bread. Nix Besser as the Dumb Dutch say.

I use to make homemade bread all the time! But it got where only I ate it Sounds heavenly!

That's why I only make 1 loaf at a time. I used to make 4 loaves, but ended up freezing most. It just doesn't taste the same thawed.

DH bought a bread machine. He uses it when he wants to make fresh bread. I used it a few times, but I enjoy getting my hands on the dough.

Going to call the furnace repair guy in the morning. NO furnace tonight and down in the 30s all week long. So thankful for both electric heaters.
