Kathy, I've asked Stephanie about Barcelona. She lived in Alicante for 6 months and loved Barcelona. I have her thinking about it, and she said she would look at her stuff she brought back. Right away though she said that Greg needs to eat a Tapas. I guess they are Spain's ethnic food sort of like pizza. She also said that there were alot of stuff by the docks but she wasn't where the cruise ships were so wasn't sure about that.

Wind chill of 15 degrees today and spitting snow. Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

Thanks Dawn, I need all the tips I can get from people since we have never been there before. Hopefully that will help us narrow down what we want to go and see there. it is the only port we wont have much time at due to our arrival time.
I know Greg would love Tapas as long as he got the one with the right filling . Or where you can fix your own from several choices set out.
We were 28 last night and will be the next 2 nights too! That sounds warm compared to your 15 wind chill day
I am sooooo ready to go back to Florida.

I cant believe it is Wednesday already. To me , time has really flown by the last week so some reason
Pups and I are all snuggled into our blankets this morning to keep warm. I am so glad I bought long johns this winter or I think I would be a popsicle by now

Thanks. I'm feeling better and it helps that the puppy is keeping us all entertained.

I'm around. Work was actually busy today. Yeah!! I hate when I'm not busy as the day drags and drags!

I'm counting the days to this cruise and praying for a Panama Canal repo cruise, hoping that they move one of the older ships out west after a new one comes on board. I plan waaaayyyy far in advance.

I want to treat my parents to that cruise so I figure I better start banking the pennies now.

Allison, a few months ago in the Orlando Sentinel when they announced they were going to remodel DCL's terminal to accommodate the new ships they said both the Magic and the Wonder were going to head out west. Both new ships would be at port canaveral. They are larger ships so they have to remodel the terminal to accommodate them.

They didnt give any itenaries. So unless something has changed that is what is suppose to happen.

He's running around acting like his normal self. I still need to give him his pain meds every 4-6 hours or his throat starts hurting.

Glad to hear he is up and running! And does he get a lot of ice cream? As a kid I always wanted to have my tonsils out so I could eat a lot of ice cream. Alas, I still have them.

It's chilly this morning in the city. Yesterday was nice and warm but today its back down in the low 30s. I really need spring.

Greg, glad to hear Brayden is up and running. Hard to keep a kid down.

well we were warmer than they said last night, only got down to 33.
Greg came home with a splitting headache last night and still has it today so he must have a virus or something? Hope he doesnt pass it my way.

Allison, I dont want spring, I want summer Spring can still be wet and cold here, I need warmth and lots of sunshine Which means I am in the wrong state right now

Tomorrow another week will be gone, so we are another week closer to this cruise.

I will be leaving early tomorrow to go to my moms for the weekend. She has been ill the past few weeks. Last week she spent the night in the ER and the last 2 days is getting worse again.
So i will be spending the weekend with her so my brother can take a break. He has been caring for her 24/7 for weeks now. But before he just slept there and she was ok during the day. Now she needs someone all the time.

He is taking her to the doctor as I type, so hopefully they will have something better to help her through this.

I'll be back on line on Monday.

Morning all:

Just thought I would pop in and say hello...... Hi Kathy Hi Greg....

I havent really gotten into facebook that much....havent been on the computer that much.....a lot going on here.....

First my dad is not doing well....he was diagnosed with emphasema and congestive heart failure....he seems to be going down daily. I'm hoping he hangs on at least another month so he can see pictures of the baby, plus on the 18th of april he will be 94 and hoping he makes it to his birthday.

Then there is Heather...counting down her time. 1 more month I cant wait...I am getting very excited...I leave for colorado on the 15th of april.....her due date the 17th and she just better wait for me to get there I'm just sayin!!!

Otherwise things arent to bad here......

Greg looks like you booked your aruba trip.....have a great trip.
Are you still planning on the rushmore trip? Did you cancel the disney 12/10 sailing? I'm thinking I may push that out to 2011 and sail on their new ship. This way the baby will be older and easier to travel with.

Kathy, how are things going with you? Do you hear from Linda at all?

Well gotta run....I did something really dumb this morning.....one of the doctors I work for decided she wants to start at 7am....so I am going to be the early person today....I need to be at work at 6:45....dont know what the heck I was thinking I was up at 4:15 and ready to leave by 5:10......it only takes 20 minutes to get to work. ...luckily I caught what I did before I left the house....so I had an hour to burn.... I could have stayed in bed another hour oh well!!!! at least I get off at 3pm today.....I can come home and take a nap!!!

That's pretty bad when you have to use an excuse of getting up to early for work.....then having an hour to burn, so you decided to get on and chat with us.....I'm just sayin'!!

Yes, we're going to Aruba!

Yes, Mt. Rushmore is still on!

No didn't cancel DCL yet....will probably cancel it though or move it to one of the new ships for 2011 .

We're booked on a 9 day southern cruise with NCL for March 2010 and will book the Oasis of the Seas for later that year if RCCL starts running special to fill the ship.

Also heading back to Orlando in August for a shuttle launch. If the shuttle doesn't launch while we're there....we'll fly out to Jamaica for a week!
