Myabe we need a question of the day so everyone can get aquainted with the new families easier.
Those questions can help to know peoples personalities, likes and dislikes and often find a subject we can all chat about

Hello Nana 9er's!

Looks like there has been a few new cruisers join the ranks the past couple of weeks?!

Made it back from Vegas yesterday and will be returning again in a couple of weeks.

Since we've got new cruisers joining (and we aren't going on this cruise) I won't be posting here anymore except to say "Hi" once in a while.

I will lurk now and then to see how everyone is doing, but if you want to chat with me I'll be on facebook or most of you have my e-mail and phone number.

As I sit here and watch a combination rain/snow/ice storm move through all I want to do is be sitting on my verandah watching Grand Cayman or Cozumel or St. Maarten or St. Thomas or Castaway Cay come into view.

Jeff, I was thinking the same thing as I headed out to dinner here in Massachusetts. I once again questioned why you folks live up here while I was out yesterday!

Believe me I am questioning it big time right now. I just cleared some of the ice off my driveway. My snow removal guy got the snow off and some of the ice and laid down salt but there was still a lot of ice/slushiness so I removed some of that. And now it's snowing lightly now. Forecast has another inch or two of snow coming in tonight. I can't stand it.

well NO snow here, but it's going to be in the 20's again tonight

I am waiting for the mail to come. We still need 2 things before we can do our taxes I really want to get them done because we will get a nice refund this year

Nothing else going on here, just quiet country setting with the cows roaming the fields next door. Thats all the excitement here today.

Hey Greg....I do have your email....i think...anyway...how does this facebook work? I know my daughter was on it when she was in a couple of weeks ago is it like my space and you need to request to be "your friend"... hey all this hi-tech stuff is just to much for us older folk!!!

Just a quick question. My DD wants to know if any one has any girls her age. She just turned 9. She met up with another Dis'ers daughter on the last cruise and they were able to hang out in the Kid's Club together. She had a blast and was happy to find someone that she could hang with.

i dont know how to navigate all of Facebook but I joined up and yes you request friends ro they request that you be their friend.
Lots of the 08 crew are there. Just go to www.facebook.com and follow the prompts to join. Then got to the part where you look for friends and when you find us, click on each person and you send a request for a friend. That starts the ball rolling. Put in my name Kathleen Templeton and after we are connected lots of people will pop up for you to scroll through and pick out for friends you know.
It will make more sense once you join up and cans ee the prompts on the page.

We have a 10 year old but she will be 11 on the cruise and in Ocean Quest with the way Disney has the ages broken down. (8-10 and 11-13). We are ALWAYS up for meeting new friends though...

Mine is always up for meeting new friends.
Is there a Dis meet planned or is it too early to start thinking of that? I just got back a week ago and I can't wait for this cruise!! My DD and I have started a countdown everynight already. Its going to be a long 10 months!!!!

Howdy everyone,
my internet was down all day
It is moving slower than dial up right now but at least I can get on line.


Bananaheads always have a dis meet
It has always been the first day in the Promenade lounge around 2:30. I think that was the time, close to it.

we like to do the fish extender exchange too!!

we all meet, chat, do a gift exchange (optional), do a group picture and then before the safety drill we all go our own ways.


Its NEVER too early to think about fun things we can do for the cruise Thats what gets us through the winter.

My DD will be almost 8 and really wants to go in the 8-10 group so maybe they can hang out together. We'll have to see how the other DD does by herself - she will be 5 so definitely in the younger group.

I finally got done grocery shopping. It was extra busy today, probably due to people buying extra stuff for Super bowl sunday.
I am so gald to be done with that.

I am not a football fan but i will watch for the commericals

We had an interesting morning here.
They said our low was to be 35 and we hit 24 So our water pipe was frozen up this morning and our door was frozen shut

We had to use my blow dryer on the door so it would loosen up the ice on the outside enough that Greg could push it hard and open it up so we could take the dogs out.

I really wish we were on a cruise about now

I am so happy to hear from you again. Last time you posted you wernt feeling well. I was afraid you got worse.
We have a few new families, so make sure you read the last 3 or 4 pages
