Afternoon all. I thought I would check in. I'm so tired. We went on a church trip yesterday to the Sigt and Sound Theater in Lancaster, PA. We saw Behold the Lamb. Beautiful show. It was free for the altar servers (my DD) but I paid to go. It was worth it. And we had lunch at this wonderful Amish restaurant. But I've discovered I've taken her to Disney way too much. Not only did she not know who or what the Amish were she was able to use the word "animatronic" correctly in a sentence.

They were showing clips of the showing coming this summer and there is this huge elephant like structure that is moving across the stage. Her friend asks "Is that real?" (in total awe). DD chimes in "No, that's just animatronics."

Now I'm exhausted. Puppy had to go potty at 5:30 a.m. And by the time she was done it was 6 a.m. and my DD had to serve 8:30 mass. Yeah, thanks for that schedule!! It's only 1:30 and it feels like its 6 p.m. I need a nap.

I think you were trying to finish this page and move on to the new thread so I couldnt find you for awhile.


Well you almost made it

Been a long weekend. it was a rough one and wont get better for 2 or 3 weeks. Mom got new meds that are suppose fix her problems but it has to slowly build up in her system over 2 or 3 weeks before she will feel better.

She is getting so tired and weak whilew aiting for this to happen that she isnt thinking clear sometimes during the day when she is feeling better. She is way too tired. 2 hours sleep or less for each 24 hours. She si going back to dr. on thursday and my brother will ask for something to help her sleep if she will take it.
I had3 1/2 hours sleep in 3 days, so I slept for 3 hour nap last ight, got up, changed for bed, went to bed for 9 hours straight sleep and I am abotu ready for nap this morning after I give the pups a break.



Denise, good to hear from you. Hope they can help you dad to breath easier so he can at least be more comfortable. My dad had the same condtions in his 50's. Let us know when the baby arrives!! WE WANT PICTURES !!! of cousre being your first grandchild I know you wont have many to share

Hi Dawn, nice to see you dropping by too. Too tired to say much more right now. I want to watch the nanahead film i saw waiting on my e-mail now then off to relax.


I will post more soon. My drive home yesterday afternoon was 140 miles of torental rain and 50 MPH winds and flooded roads. what a stressful mess it was. I am so glad to be home.

Hopefully when i go back in 2 weeks she will be better and it will be a good visit. My other brother will be going to moms next weekend to give my oldest brother another weekend off.

Hey everyone.
We had a great weekend in New York (except for the fact that my team lost its first game). But great fun in the city. Good food, too many cocktails.

We went to see the Little Mermaid on broadway. Great show for sure. The effects were amazing.

And the best news is that we got our documents for our 3 night cruise in April! woo hoo. Staying in an inside room for the first time ever, but for 3 nights...we didn't think it was a big deal. We ARE on the sixth deck which is great, though. Three weeks from Wed. we are at WDW, then we cruise on Thursday and then back to WDW on Sunday and Monday. Can't wait.

Hi Jeff,
glad to hear the trip went well.

I would be happy to babysit on the cruise if you need a sitter. I wont charge any wages, just the airfare and cruise costs
Inside rooms are actually quite nice. we did one on a short cruise too.
There wasnt the shelves in the bathroom, it was a single not split bath so the bathroom was larger just not as many shelves in it, so we had to use some shelves by the closet they had. Not sure if your room will be designed that same way or not.

But we are never in the room enough to matter. Just remember you HAVE TO take photos to share with us who are stuck on land

Did you get to go to the M&M store in NY? I have heard it is a great place.

some of her problems can be cured if the doctor is right but some wont go away. She is 88 and sadly her body is starting to wear out.

I do believe some of her problems have been brought on by loosing her last 2 siblings within 3 months of each other recently. She has been going down hill since then for one thing or another.

be we are hopful the worst symptoms will be taken care of after the meds build up in her system.

I tried to rest today but couldnt sleep, just relaxed but it felt good anyway.
will call my brother this evening to see if mom had a better night last night. I sure hope so. My brother is so good with her. Patient, understanding and loving son. Hard to believe thats my brother
after all he use to throw buckets of ice water on me!!And I was a little ANGEL
