So what's everyone doing for Christmas? We leave Friday for Colorado, so I probably won't be posting much over the weekend or early next week. We're spending a couple of days in Thornton and a couple of days at Estes Park.

Chris' aunt is excited to see us and she said she has presents all over her house for the boys. They're going to be spoiled rotten I fear!

That's what Aunts are made for! I'm sure she and your boys love it!

Yes! we did! Chris hadn't seen the nanahead photobucket account so he went and checked it out. I did too yesterday! Lots of new photos!

Yes the Von Maur store reopened today. I didn't go, but my boss and a couple of people in my office went.

I probably will wait until after the holidays. I get a little claustrophobic shopping during Christmas. I've done most of my Christmas shopping on the internet this year.

I was kind of surprised it opened so quickly. When it first happened and I heard the details I thought it might not open again.

Hi Jaime
Jackson is doing fine. He has a runny nose but not too bad. He has been teething ever since our trip. 4 teeth coming in at once. Only the last 2 nights has he slept through the night. Otherwise he's woken up at least once.

So now we're leaving on another trip to throw him all off of course. Hopefully the boss lady will let us go early so I can get home and get things finalized so we can get on the road before 6 pm.... we'll see!

Cheri, Nice to hear from you. We had the fog this morning. You didn't say anything about snow...got any yet? I suppose you may get about the same time as us since its traveling NE instead of W.

Spent most of today cleaning our bedrooms. Spent most of the time in the boys room making room for the Christmas stuff. The stuff they haven't played with in a while went to the basement so that we can fit the Christmas stuff in!

All that are traveling whether it's flying or just driving in town, please be safe.

Kathy, We did not go see the movie. Went to the movie rental instead and watched Deck the Halls..pretty good flick. At this point, will wait until after Christmas to go and see it.

Howdy everyone,

just checking in here too.

The man who came to see the house on Thursday is beinging his wife to see the house today, so keep the pixie dust coming we need it!! Houses just arnt selling well right now. So many people being put out of work and builders going under right now. Many of our friends have been laid off already, it will be our turn soon.
Some builders are offering the first year with NO mortgage payments as an incentive to buy, plus free pools and free stainless steel appliances. One builder was even giving away a New Kia car if you bought one of their houses.

Greg just old me last night 2 more builders went under last week.

On a happier note our oldest son is coming to visit today and staying until after Christmas. Poncho, his dog and our dogs play really well together. I have a stocking and gifts for each of them. I think they got ore than the rest of us They have such cute dog toys out now and the treats look better than some human treats do!! YUMMY!!

well I am off to boil a lot of eggs for deviled eggs, postao salad, macaroni salad, wont cook the ham until tomarrow. Also going to make the shells for cream puffs and take the cookies out of the freezer and frost and decorate them.
I am also ordering pizza for dinner so NO cooking tonight! WOO HOO!!

Good morning Nanas!

That's good news about the house Kathy!

Temps went from 45 late last night to -1 wind chill this morning. We've had snow on the ground since we came back from the cruise.

Last Saturday we probably picked up about 6 inches of the fluffy stuff. We've been lucky not to be completely buried in snow or ice like other parts of the country.

Time to clean up the house. We have a small get-together here on Christmas Eve and then off to the Wilson Christmas on Christmas Day. Then my family will get together on the 29th at my brother's house.
