Ya the economy is getting bad everywhere I think!

My wife and I have seen our retirement accounts loose so much value the past few weeks that I don't even like to look at it anymore!

Favorite Thanksgiving dish for me is Turkey, Ham, stuffing, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, and pumpkin pie!! (sorry...I couldn't decide on just one!!)

How do I make sweet potatos?

Thanksgiving foods.

Pies are my favorite.
No traditional pumpkin though.
Chocolate
coconut cream
lemon meringue
apple
cherry
blueberry
marionberry
orange meringue
lime meringue
and a fee more

but there is a cranberry gelatin salad I loved with crushed pineapple, cheddar cheese, unsweetened whipping cream. I dont care for cranberries but i loved that salad with a slice of turkey on the side. It just goes together awesome!!

It takes unflavored gelatin. here it is called knox gelatin.
I have a small receipe file with me, my books are packed but I will look later and if i have the receipe I will post it for you.

It is a pretty looking salad and its one of those you either love or hate. No in between. It is NOT a sweet salad but many use it for dessert in my family.

I think sweet potatoes/yams are made just like regular potatoes, baked or boiled.

We melt marshmellows on top of ours with a little brown sugar and cinnamon. Yum....
