Good job Kathy!! :thumbsup2

Looks like a beautiful day here in NYC. I'm trying to get out for a walk soon. A co-worker wants to go with me but made a face when I said "It's just walking. No shopping or dilly-dallying. I'm walking!" She seriously thought I was going shopping. I really don't like when I have a routine and people want to upset it. I have a feeling she is going to drag me down. I might have to ditch her part way through. :rolleyes1 :rotfl: I need to learn how to say "no". :lmao:

For the new folks on the thread, we are definitely on this cruise. It is my DH, myself and our DD9. She is excited to make friends so she can hang out in the kid's club together.

And speaking of the cruise, I got my folder with all the different shore excursions in it yesterday. The cruise is getting closer. :cool1:

I'm here and I'm feeling better. Still a little cough, but nothing like it was.

I've been trying to re-plan our Jamaica/Orlando trip. We've decided to extend our vacation for another 9 days, so we can hopefully watch the shuttle launch on Aug. 18. :cool1:

Hmmm...that's the day we get there! I see that you called but your message came up when I called back.

You'd better put 94 octane in your vehicle so you can get there a day earlier and watch the launch with us!! :woohoo:

Its scheduled to launch at 4:30am the morning of the 18th......as of right now? :rolleyes1

I got a package from DCL on Monday:cool1: Just info on excursions and stuff like that-- that must mean it's getting close! So I think I better get on the ball and get my hotel and car reserved. Do we have a FE sign-up yet? My kids really want to do that-- my son asked if we knock on the door and run like ding dong ditch :lmao:

Jenny, we have always done the FE exchange but there are so few people signed up for this cruise thread that nobody has organized it yet.:confused3

If you want you can be in charge of getting peoples room numbers of those who want to do this and then send it out to everyone a month before the cruise. Thats all there is to it and to make sure any new peopel know about it.

I usually help with all that stuff but since we are not booked for sure I don't feel right about doing it in case we dont go and this economy is making it look more and more doubtful.

Say it's not so Kathy. How will we survive without the Queen Bananahead herself.....

Good morning all :goodvibes

Sorry Jeff but everything is hitting us hard this year. Our renters did a lot of damage to our house which is costing a lot to fix and we're not done yet.
They broke the pool control box, cant remember the name, also the cell to the pool was ruined and today we found out aother part was ruined from them not taking proper care of the pool. Just the part, not counting labor uses up more than her 1600.00 deposit, plus they ruined the front yard which is now dirt and weeds. By code there it has to be St. Augustine grass which costs about $5,000 to fix a front yard. There is a moldy area that was behind their furniture up against the wall so no air could get to it. We havnt got into that wall yet to see how far that has spread and what it will cost.

It looks like our expensive palms which were almost dead are starting to recover now. Plus we have to pay people to do all the repairs since we are in Oregon. So we shall have to see what all this winds up costing.:scared1:

But I will still post and get aquainted with everyone new, just in case.
At least 2011 cruise is looking really good for us:thumbsup2

I turned on the TV and TCM is playing Herman Hermits movies this morning. They are from the 60's. Boy they are not the way I remembered them the first time i saw them , way back then:lmao: Pretty corny ! But fun to watch. I do like their music.:goodvibes

Very cloudy today but its suppose to clear off and be almost 80 today and hotter the next few days. Not much going on today, just doing :laundy:

Have a great thursday everyone,

Kathy

Looks like its been a pretty quiet day on this thread. :confused3

It's a beautiful day here in NYC. I went for a nice walk at lunch time. Sunny and the clock outside said it was 65. Not sure if the clock is working right but it definitely didn't feel like hot, humid July weather. And no, I'm not complaining and just a little surprised. It was a beautiful 40 minutes out of the office!!

Hope everyone is enjoying their day. :goodvibes

Kathy - that's just awful. I just don't know what is wrong with people. I feel like an old fogey but civilized society has just gone to hell. It makes me sad - and angry.

Hope that you get some pixie dust in the form of something like finding a bag of money that you forgot about. :wizard:

Happy Friday everyone,

we are headed for upper 80's today. That will be kinda hot.
I like the warmth but in the RV it feels 20 degrees hotter. I hate paying the electric to run the AC but will have to today.

Tomorrow is grocery shopping and looking for clothes for my mom.
Gosh there are lots of cruise reports complaining about the food on both ships. Saw a new one today. You guys will have to report on the food to us when you go. Mostly breakfasts and lunches.

well off to do alot of nothing today:lmao:

We lost internet yesterday afternoon until this morning, hope that doesnt happen again.

Kathy

I guess I'd better run for the fall out shelter, cause I don't have the strength to keep Kathy in line on my own!! :worship::rotfl2:

Yes it is getting closer. Just realized that magical 90 day booking date for Palo etc. is only a little more than a month away!!

Just looked at the spa price list. looks like there have been a few price increases since Jan.
