That's a good question? :confused3

Is Allison going on this cruise?.....I don't think Kathy is even booked on this one?

I think we're all here just to keep you company so your not alone? :confused3

I know our thread for our 9 day southern cruise in March has about a dozen or so people on it, but they only post every 2-3 weeks....kinda boring. :surfweb:

Plus I think Kathy likes to post on multiple thread so she has a better chance of getting the top page! :lmao:

I think Kathy posts on multiple roll calls because she forgets what cruise she is on and figures one of them should be right:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

I think what might be happening is that the thread title is a little misleading and people probably think it's a reunion group and not a roll call.

We were on this cruise and changed. I just chat on this one because no one posts on the other roll calls I am in.

Jeff....I saw one of your other posts that you had some transportation issues on your trip, sorry to hear that. We actually had the complete opposite experience. How was the rest of your trip?

I wonder about that myself but how to resolve it? Should we start a new thread that is clearly a roll call for this cruise - especially since so few (perhaps only us) Nanaheads are on it... I really want to find out if there are kids that my kids can connect with in advance. What do you all think? Maybe we can change the name of the thread???

And Chuck - the buses were just awful. When Elizabeth was dancing at downtown disney, we actually waited more than an hour for a bus from POR. We almost missed the performance. And that was a start of many such bus trips. One day we waited 50 minutes at Epcot for a bus back to the AKV. Something was clearly wrong this week. We had never had this experience before and lots of people we spoke with said the same. I hope it was an aberration because we generally think that the bus thing works just right and saves a lot of time (not having to park the rental car, take the shuttle, etc) but this time not even a little bit.

Personally I would keep this one going for the Nanna's and start a new thread specifically for the roll call.

Yeah but then it gets confusing to people cruising. Which one to go to? And on the official " find your magic cruise" list - which one goes there/ This one is there right now. I guess I'll just wait it out and hope that some folks actually come on here and post.

Thought of another reason. When you click on the link for this roll call from the main thread it takes you to the first thread which states "closed". You have to go to the last post for the next link which takes you to thread 2 and as you know it is now thread 5.

Some newbies may not know how to maneuver around the boards. I wonder if there is a way to update the link on the main roll call page that way it will always take you to the most current thread. Kathy should have the pull to get this done. It would probably need to be updated each time a new thread is started.

Ohhhhh Kathy--- HELP!

Ohhhhh Jeff and Chuck,
I am here:goodvibes

I went to page one and tried to change the title but it wont let me. I did change it on the first post though. The title may have to wait until we reach 250 pages and start a new thread. I will do more research.

I did however go to the top of the cruise meets thread page where it says 2009 Magic cruises and contacted Irish Cowboy to change the thread there to our current thread. So if anybody looks at 11/28/09 and clicks on it they will be brought right to us without going to old threads.

Hopefully that will help:thumbsup2

Ok its true we arnt booked yet. We are hoping to go still but since Greg is in the housing industry we have been hit pretty hard by the economy. So it depends on how things go all this summer for us. I have always said IF we get to go it will be a last minute booking. We should know by October 1st.
So I am still keeping fingers crossed to go!!:thumbsup2

Chuck, you and Allison have to give some serious thought to joining all of us on the 2011 cruise for this crazy group. There is a thread started for this and lots of people posting there. They even make the rest of us seem normal.:rotfl2::rotfl2: Even Greg!!

Of course everyone is invited to join us on the 9/18/2010 TA cruise too!

Gotta run,
Kathy

Jeff,
Tonya and Trey are booked but she is not sure if they will go yet so she isnt posting. Maybe you could PM her and see if they are still going or not??
Basically their problem is school for their son.

Thanks Kathy. I noticed on the roll call page that they have multiple links showing for some of the cruises. august 16, 2009 I think had 4. So I am sure Irish Cowboy can keep updating the links, this way you will get more people joining.

Good Morning!

OMG! No post since 7/3!!!! I was trying to hang back and let the cruisers take control of the board, but....

Had a great time cooking out, making smores by the fire and watching some fireworks yesterday! How was everyone else's day?

Cooler temps--didn't get past 72 degrees yesterday. Suppose to aim for close to 80 today.

I'll check back later.

Howdy,
back from moms.

Had a great visit with her.
The 4th was very LOUD at her place which scared poor pixie . She was like hyperventilating and shaking. twice she tried to pass out on me and I rubbed her and got her back. I was really scared she was going to have a heart attack and die from fear which can happen.

I laid on the floor next to her in her hiding place until close to 1:30 a.m. The noises stopped about 12:30 a.m.. She ran to the end of the hallway and laid down then so I fell asleep. In the morning I found her huddled up in the little bedroom. Minnie stayed close to her just starring at her.

No matter what I said or did she wouldnt budge until Greg got back from spending the night a this moms house. Pixie didnt go to the bathroom for about 14 or 15 hours. I couldnt get her to drink or eat either.

She is fine now but I am exhausted and both dogs andGreg are sleeping and I am doing laundry.
Hope everyone elses 4th was better than mine.

Then while reading trip reports I saw dozens of complaints about both ships. Food was terrible, service was horrible. People didnt complain to the head server like they should of for the most part and return the meal if its no good.
What ever the problem is, I sure hope they fix it before this cruise!!

Gotta go and relax, back tomorrow.

Hope everyone had a great 4th of July,
Kathy

Hi everyone. Hope everyone had a great 4th of July weekend. I had off Saturday & Sunday so I had a great weekend alone with DH. DS moved out last weekend and we are changing his room into a sewing, craft & exercise room for me. DH has had the 3rd bedroom for a den since DD moved out 10 years ago. Now it's my turn.
Weather here has been on again, off again rain. On days that it is dry in the morning I take my motorcycle to work. If it is raining when it's time to come home it's only a 5 minute ride & I can change when I get home. If it's raining in the morning & then clears up I get depressed because I couldn't ride in. Not much fun wearing wet clothes at work.
Can't wait till November. We will be leaving port on my 56th birthday! We will be driving down to WDW first, leaving Wednesday night after work and hopefully arriving Thanksgiving evening. Hope the weather is good (no snow) so we make good time, but we gave ourselves 2 1/2 days to get down to port if the weather messes us up. If that happens, we will just have to miss WDW.
Got to go get ready for work now.
Take care everyone.

Bev

Hello everyone! Haven't posted in awhile-- I can't believe how busy I've been this year -and now we are less than 5 months away:banana: I am seriously going to try and be more active on here now- and if any kids want to email mine- or friend them on facebook, they would love it. My daughters will be 15 and 12, and my son is 9. Have a good day everyone :)

WOW[/B
Bev and Jenny both posting at the same time:thumbsup2

Ok Jeff and Allison there is the answer to one of your questions. Jenny has kids who want to get aqauinted like yours do.:cool1:

Nice to hear from both of you ladies. I had just about given up on you guys.:sad2: I am really glad you both posted. Dont be such strangers around here.:goodvibes

Morning all,
cloudy and much cooler today, thank goodness. Only headed for mid 70's which will be nice after upper 90's all week.

Nothing special going on today. Just recouperating from the weekend.

Back later,

Kathy

Morning all.

We're back from vacation. :sad1: I could use another month of two. :goodvibes But I definitely won't tell the boss that. ;)

We had a good time. Spent a couple of good days at the beach, another couple looking for shells and "Cape May Diamonds" on another beach.
Saw lots of dolphins swimming off the beach yesterday so that was fun. We took my stepdaughter's DD with us for the first (and last) time. She was well behaved until she got tired. Then she cried and cried and cried. I don't do well with crying. It was definitely too long without her mother. Oh well, live and learn. We all still had a wonderful time. Ate lots of s'mores and popcorn. Oh and DSD mentioned, when we got home, that she does the crying bit all the time at home.

DD only ended up in urgent care once! :thumbsup2 She is really allergic to mosquito bites and swells up and gets infected very quickly. So we spent a morning at the urgent care place with a hand so swollen she couldn't close it and an eye that was about to close. Poor thing looked like she had a shiner for days. But we ended up having a good day anyway in the afternoon.

Now I'm back at work. :sad2: I'll try to post pictures later tonight after I start on the piles of laundry.

I didn't read back very far so I hope everyone had a good week. :)

Hi Everyone!

Kathy, Alexis was terrified of the fireworks too! She would not go to the bathroom either!

Sounds like DCL better do something with the food. If you hear of a complaint, it is usually the food.

Check back in later!

Oh YUCKY!!!!
I just looked at the tire by the door as the dogs and I came back from a walk and theres a squished snake or chipmunks head sticking out.:scared:

The tires are sitting on 2 boards and have not been moved for a few weeks, so how even a snake could have crawled under there to get stuck is impossible to do. The weight of the RV is on those boards. It looks like a snakes head because it is pointy a little bit but it looks like it has hair like a chipmunk and i'm NOT getting down close to look good at it.

That is for Greg to get rid of after he gets home tonight,. He loves those kinds of surprizes after working hard all day:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:
